00:25Mr bin Laden, who has lived in Orn for several years as the spouse of a British national,

00:29posted comments on his social networks in 2023 that were an apology for terrorism.

00:34As a result, the prefect of Orn issued an order to leave French territory and obtained

00:39Mr bin Laden's departure.

00:42Mr bin Laden left France in 2023 on a two-year ban, though no details are known of the timing

00:48or location of his deportation.

00:50But it's now confirmed he's permanently unable to return.

00:55The courts have confirmed the legality of this decision taken for national security.

00:59The administrative ban on the territory guarantees that Mr bin Laden will not be able to return

01:08Born in Saudi Arabia, Omar bin Laden also lived in Sudan and Afghanistan and had earned

01:17He left his father's side in 2000, asserting he didn't agree with the killing of civilians

01:22and has denied authoring the social media posts, telling a podcast earlier this year

01:27that he was hacked.
