02:08But we knew six months ago he wasn't going to play the first half of the season and nobody

02:12thought that was going to be what about Hargrave who went out with a pec injury.

02:17That's an injury leading defensive tackles and pressures as much as we are throwing stones

02:23And the New England Patriots just lost their starting center for the year.

02:28And so you're saying every team is dealing with something.

02:56and Greenlaw and Greenlaw.

02:57I'm just saying to me I would not give up on the goal of the Super Bowl if I'm the San

03:03Francisco 49ers.

03:05I still think there's a chance that they they get healthy the second part of the season.

03:12Because I feel like attrition is setting in and that's why I've been so concerned on what

03:16I call blown or miss opportunities with the Niners.

03:20You never know what the next year holds for you.

03:22And right now they've been dealt a bad hand in regard to who is injured and how long they're

03:29All that could change is still in front of them with 13 games left.

03:33But partner I'm watching this defense and I don't feel like it's a playoff defense.

03:39They had a good showing against New England but that really wasn't a test.

04:29Kittle back and they've gotten Debo Samuel back and Greenlaw by all intent might be coming

04:34back week 10 or 11.

04:36They just got longer comes back and then he's out again.

04:40It sounds like it's tiny and it happens and every team is dealing with it.

05:55So it's all about how you how you view it.

05:58But when it comes to the Warriors goo I got a number in mind.

06:02I got a number that that I think should be their goal.

06:06Can they get can they get to five.

06:10And they'd be the fifth best team in the Western Conference.

06:13How many wins would that entail you.

06:15See and that's what Steve Kerr was talking about a couple of days ago at media day.

06:22Two years ago they won 44 and they were six.

06:26Last year they won 46 and they were 10.

06:28I don't know.

06:29Maybe they went 48 and they're 10 again because the West is getting better and Memphis is

06:34going to have job back in Houston.

06:36Or 48 could get you to seven six or seven.

06:40It's possible.

06:41Can I share with you my answer to that question Stani and why I'm fearful about the Warriors

06:46and to their credit they tried everything under the sun to land a big boy.

06:50If that's marketing if that's Paul George regardless of what you believe I believe that

06:55team need knew the Warriors that is.

06:58They needed an infusion of talent to go along with Steph Curry.

07:01But the reality is Stani they tried.

07:03It didn't happen.

07:04So now I'm up here like OK we're going to go with what we have now but never.

07:10I can't believe in recent years have I went into a warrior season or we have and people

07:15are talking about the deadline as an opportunity for them to get better.

07:19So I'm fearful.

07:20And then when I hear Coach Kerr talk about we have openings I'm like well damn you don't

07:25even have that.

07:27You know it's not what it used to be.

07:29There's a lot of you know unknown to this season.

07:32So Stani to me if they got to the playoffs that would be better than last year and I

07:38would take that.

07:39What are your goals for for the three teams right now in the Bay.

07:45You got Buster Posey taking over the Giants to me it's it's it still remains pretty simple

07:50and it's can the can the Warriors and the Giants get to the postseason in the next year.

07:56And those are both within the realm of possibility.

07:59To me it's still can the 49ers win a Super Bowl.

08:02Can the Warriors make the playoffs.

08:05And I'm just going to say a top six so that they have to so that they don't have to worry

08:09about a play in game.

08:10But I think six or five mostly is a goal for the for the Golden State Warriors and then

08:16the San Francisco Giants.

08:18To me there's no reason they couldn't theoretically get back into the postseason next year.

08:23But my but my question to the Bay Area fans is have your expectations changed with any

08:29of these three teams.

08:30Have they changed with the Niners because of the start they've gotten off to in the

08:35McCaffrey injury.

08:37Where are you with the Golden State Warriors.

08:38It seems like a lot of fans last year still thought this team was in a championship window.

08:44They didn't make the playoffs.

08:46You still think they're in a championship window.

08:50To me that's a little far fetched but you first got to get to the playoffs and then

08:53you can see how you measure yourself against the other teams.

08:56Real quick here the Giants already have you said relevance yesterday but they already

09:02are benefiting from excitement just with it and you called it PR with the Posey higher.

09:08So those aren't wins and games now but there's excitement.
