00:00It's been the first sort of exciting part of the job really, being in that space you
00:04start to imagine actually how it feels you know and so no it's yeah it's been great the
00:08last week it's been amazing.
00:10So this is like the first time we're actually starting to build things back up again and
00:14actually see it take shape so it's yeah it's it feels like a real step forward.
00:20I think despite the horrificness of the fire what it's enabled us to do is to open up the
00:26restaurant it's enabled us to keep all the old parts of the building but modernize them
00:31in a way that it works better without it looking any more modern than it ever was.
00:36I think now we've got a space that's that's that's really good for sort of that magic
00:40hundred or eighty to a hundred guests is a great number to hit in the house.
00:44We're going to leave all the exposed beams which again I think really plays into the
00:50atmosphere that we're trying to create in here so when you walk in here it looks like
00:53a really special place particularly if you're having a wedding in here or a big event that
00:58kind of really old English traditional pub is what we're going to do in this area.
01:04So super informal in the bar eating on this sort of Saturday nights going back to the
01:09point that we wanted to create more area for drinking.
01:13Yeah we've been really mindful of the feedback that we've had from people which is primarily
01:21that there's not a huge amount of space to for people to have pre-dinner drinks right.
01:27Bringing this part of the restaurant into the bar with some low-level relaxed seating
01:31that you don't have to book you can just come and sit down and have a drink will actually
01:36free up some space at the front of the bar.
01:38It's sort of an emotional thing really is the first thing it feels so strange these
01:43places and we kind of felt it in Covid when they're empty and it just feels so strange.
01:48Yeah it feels like there is a huge amount of work to do between now and then at times
01:55overwhelmingly so but we've got a great team helping us so that you know we'll get there
02:02and we just we're so excited for it to reopen and even get a solid date of reopening so
02:09we can open the books and really start to think about people coming back.
02:14Yeah I think that's something we've pushed for is to try and get this diary open you
02:17know so we can just feel like we're getting you know people that want to come back and
02:21support us which is amazing that they've got 30th's and things they want to book in 40th's
02:26whatever just to get those in the diary would be a good step you know would feel like a
02:31great milestone.
