I can use the umbrella to protect myself.
00:06
That's why I always have an umbrella in the bag.
00:10
Umbrella can be a weapon that I think I can use if I really need.
00:15
22nd of May, I still remember that date.
00:18
I was a bit late for my work, so I walked very fast to the building.
00:24
On that way, I saw more than ten teenagers just walking in front of me.
00:30
So I tried to slow my pace.
00:33
I didn't want to get any attention from them.
00:36
But there was a girl who just turned back and saw me.
00:40
Then she began to shout at me.
00:43
She said, ching chong, at me.
00:45
Then other boys just followed her, laughing at me.
00:50
The last word she used, she said, beach.
00:54
I was just like two steps away from my office building I was about to enter.
01:00
One of them just threw at me with a V can.
01:05
I come here because I want to learn my English and try to fit in society.
01:12
But those people, they shouted at me and asked me to go back to China or belittled me.
01:19
Made me feel I sometimes really regret learning English.
01:25
Maybe if I went to another country, I could have a better life.
