What would you like to see done with  Endcliffe Park Pavilion and Lodge

00:06Well it'd be nice to have another little cafe because there's only the one here and that gets

00:12very busy in the summer it'd be a nice alternative just it's a nice little area for people to sit.

00:19Do you think there's capacity for another one then?

00:21Yeah I think so because it's very small the other one and it does get very

00:25busy I mean I've been coming in here for 30 odd years now with lots of different children

00:32I've got four and it does get very busy sometimes you're waiting a very long queue it's a very nice

00:39day just just for an ice cream so yeah I think it'd be a nice alternative just come in you can

00:46sit in this quiet area as well and away from all the the noise and the you know all the playground

00:53I just want the little kids to play around here.

01:01Um so something for the community so obviously there is a cafe further in the park but something

01:06like that maybe a multi-use space um something to not leave the building to just go to rack

01:15and ruin which has happened to so many buildings that are like that in the past I suppose.

01:20Could you tell me what you'd like to see done with the building behind you here in Encliff Park?

01:26Yes I think it's a beautiful building I would say the best thing to do with it would be for

01:31a business to take it over that could do some sort of hospitality with it potentially

01:36like a restaurant a high-end restaurant for the area I appreciate that Ecclesfield Road does have

01:43a lot of other restaurants but I think something in the park it's got fantastic views it's in a

01:49brilliant location a bistro that could potentially serve alcohol as well maybe catering for evening

01:58meals I would say so that doesn't have any detrimental effect to the cafe that's on in

02:03the park already. Could you tell me what you'd like seeing done with the building that's behind

02:09you here in Encliff Park? I think the most obvious answer would be a cafe but then that would take

02:14away from the cafe that's already here so maybe something nice like the local art or something

02:20like that maybe like a little gallery where people can local artists can put their work and

02:26I mean there is the local art shop across the way but it would be nice to have like a gallery

02:30sort of sense rather than a shop I think that would be quite nice. Could you tell me what you'd

02:36like to see with the building behind us here in Encliff Park? Well I think it would make a nice

02:41cafe it's ideally located for people walking out to the country or into town and there's

02:47an outdoor terrace where people can sit in those few sunny days that we have.
