00:11that supply Italian tobacco, and the ambition is to provide the right support with the most
00:20advanced technologies, including the use of satellites and artificial intelligence, for
00:25the agricultural companies that are loyal to the Italian tobacco purchase project.
00:30It is an ambitious project that aims to realize an application that can be used by all farmers,
00:39with the only goal of providing sustainability, both in terms of water consumption and in
00:46terms of improving the use of health products.
00:50This involves an investment, above all, of time, to understand what are the implications
00:55that artificial intelligence must use to optimize the use of a start-up like JustOneEarth,
01:06and we are at a good point, but we still need time to be able to put in place all the variables
01:13that make up the use of the cultivation factors.
01:16In our case, the goal of reducing the use of health products and, above all, of the
01:20quantity of water is fundamental, because in this way we reach the goal of reducing
01:27the waste of natural resources.
01:29The Italian tobacco sector has always had to face a challenge, which is that of placing
01:37itself on the international market, because economic sustainability, without the active
01:43manufacturing of the market or of the final products, would not have reason to exist.
01:49The challenge of Italian tobacco culture is certainly that of having the guarantee of
01:54being able to obtain a multi-year program, with the participation of manufacturers, in
01:59order to have, how to say, a synergy between the agricultural and industrial sectors.
02:06Only in this way will we be able to reach the right balance and give support to tobacco
02:11I remember being a culture with a high level of work, so the social impact that tobacco
02:18culture has on the Italian agricultural economy, I would say, is almost irreplaceable.
02:24This is the reason that once again pushes us to schedule, year after year, the permanence
02:31of manufacturing that guarantees the purchase of all Italian tobacco.
