01:12where these flatbreads are found

01:14topped with oil and flavorful toppings.

01:18These flatbreads were made from ground grain

01:21and in the recorded history of 5th century Greece

01:24these flatbreads were called Plankontos.

01:27They were either made on hot stones or in clay ovens.

01:30But if we consider these flatbreads as ancestors of pizza

01:34then we need to talk about Egyptians and Babylonians

01:37who changed the history of flatbreads with different toppings.

01:42For now, let's move on to the story of pizza.

01:44Throughout history, these flatbreads

01:46were seen as a poor man's dish.

01:49They were easily made and were also very affordable.

01:55Who made flatbreads into pizza?

01:58Industrial Revolution had come
