00:05non-working days in seven areas in the country for local festivities and
00:10important events. Under Proclamation 688, the chief executive declared October 1
00:16as a special non-working day in the municipality of Gloria Oriental Mindoro
00:22for the celebration of the Kawayanan Festival. He also issued Proclamation
00:27number 689 declaring October 8 as a special non-working day in Coronadal
00:33South Cotabato for its 24th Charter Anniversary celebration. A similar
00:39declaration was made for Pamplona Negros Oriental through Proclamation number
00:43690 making October 12 a special non-working day to mark the celebration
00:49of the Yamog Festival. According to Proclamation number 691, it will also be
00:55a special non-working day on October 21 in Cebuto province of Tawitawi in
01:00celebration of the creation of the municipality. Proclamation number 692
01:06was also issued for Pigkawayan, North Cotabato as it marks the celebration of
01:11the 71st founding anniversary on October 21. Meanwhile, Malacanang has shortened
01:18work hours in government offices on September 23 in observance of National
01:24Family Week. Malacanang ordered this through memorandum or Memorandum
01:29Circular number 64 suspending work in government offices under the executive
01:35from 3 p.m. onwards that day.
