00:00Week two starts tonight for the NFL in Miami, Thursday night football between the Bills
00:09and the Dolphins.
00:11We have given you the numbers all week long since Josh Allen's been the quarterback, 11
00:16and 2 Buffalo is against the Miami Dolphins.
00:20They have won the last four AFC East titles.
00:25Here is Mike McDaniel.
00:26Now, I don't know what's happened to Mike Scottie over the last couple of years, but
00:30let's just say, here's Mike trying to tell everybody that winning the division is important.
00:39If you want to do anything this league, generally you can't skip over the much mandated step
00:48of winning your division.
00:50And there's one team that's won the division consecutive years.
00:57You could say that they, by de facto, own the division until somebody takes it from
01:06them.
01:07So, that's just, I think it's pretty obvious, but you know, I think it's also something
01:15that they have earned and we would like to be in a situation where we earn the same thing
01:24and there's one way to do that, you have to beat your division opponents.
01:28What is happening there?
01:29I don't even know what just happened to us.
01:35We know that the Bills own the Dolphins.
01:42Mike was struggling for the words there to get through that.
01:50On the other side, of course, is Josh Allen, who was excellent last week.
01:54He's excellent against Miami, but Josh says this is actually a different Miami defense
01:58than the one that he has tormented over the last few years, including them now having
02:04a guy who was on the Bills for the last few years, that is Jordan Boyer, now in the Miami
02:09defensive backfield.
02:10Here's Allen.
02:12Well, obviously, I think they've got a little bit of different personnel than they've had
02:14the last few years.
02:16Obviously, bringing in a guy like Poe, you know, miss that guy, he's a leader, he's a
02:22leader for them.
02:23He's a very smart player.
02:25He knows a lot about this offense and a lot about me, so taking that into account, bringing
02:30a guy like Clayus Campbell, again, veteran leadership, guys that are in the right spot
02:35doing the right things and a new D coordinator, so they're doing a little bit of things differently
02:40over there, the type of scheme that they're running, and they got some playmakers over
02:44there.
02:45You know, Holland's playing some really good football, had a really big play last week.
02:49We all know Jalen Ramsey got paid at the highest paid corner in the league for a reason, so
02:54again, they got some guys over there that we got to focus on and worry about, but at
02:59the same time, it's a short week, got to focus on what we do best.
03:02Listen, I honestly, I think he's fantastic, but I want to say, he really does look like
03:10the kid that comes and asks you if you want your driveway shoveled.
03:15He really is the kid at the front door, you know, for 10 bucks, I'll shovel your driveway.
03:20He's got that boyish look about him, like he just got done playing football in the backyard
03:25with all his friends.
03:26I'm a little surprised he wears his hat forward instead of backwards.
03:30He looks like he could be on the bad news bears, like at some point, he just looks like
03:35that kid in the neighborhood that you didn't trust, but you knew that he came from good
03:39stock.
03:40But that's, I think, I think that's what people love about him, right?
03:45I think that that's why a lot of people like Josh Allen, because he comes from that kind
03:49of, that kind of look, and obviously we've heard the story 6 billion times about nobody
03:55wanting him in college, sending out all the tapes, all that stuff.
03:59He's got like a little bit of an underdog story to his background, but yes, in shots
04:04like that, he does look like he could be your paper boy as a quarterback for the Buffalo
04:11Bills.
04:12Here it is for tonight, minus two and a half still for the fish, 48 and a half.
04:20Now the total, so down from 49 and a half yesterday, your numbers for tonight, Thursday
04:25night football.
04:26Well, I mean, you know, I don't know what to think because the, the Bills game, I mean,
04:32I know who I'm taking, I'm taking the Bills and the two and a half, but I don't, you know,
04:35in terms of the total, I thought that the Bills last week were in a wild game.
04:40And I think that there's potential for them to give up some points.
04:45I think that Miami, you know, played a 2017 game, they had no business winning that game.
04:49They were down 17-7, I thought they blew it.
04:52So that was a game that was under.
04:54And so I don't know if they busted out yet, but I wasn't impressed at all with Buffalo's
04:59defense.
05:00I'm not thinking over in this game tonight in Miami.
05:03I think that the Bills can score.
05:05I think that the Dolphins can score.
05:09I don't deny that Ramsey got all that money, but that doesn't necessarily equate to me
05:17that they have some great defense in Miami.
05:19Although I am predicating it by saying that I have already told you on a number of occasions
05:25that I liked the Dolphins in the East this year.
05:27I like that team and they get no juice for whatever reason, but I still think they're
05:32a playoff team that can't figure out how to win a playoff game.
05:36They need to get over the hump like the Cowboys do.
05:39Favorites against the spread in primetime so far this year, of course, you had four
05:43primetime games last week.
05:45The Chalk 4-0 against the spread.
05:48How about that?
05:49Kansas City, Philadelphia, Detroit, San Francisco on Monday night.
05:55So 4-0, the Chalk has been good in the primetime games so far.
