People of London: Does privatisation work?

With rail nationalisation a key policy for the new government, we ask Londoners if privatised rail system work and if they’d prefer a railway system with public ownership.

00:14from Manchester and if I'm coming down here for work it costs over 200 quid if

00:21I'm having to travel at certain times of the day. I'd hope that you know it

00:25wouldn't be about just about profits and also there's always delays and all of

00:29that so I do think that making them a nationalised company would be a good

00:36thing. It seems that everything when they were sold off have all gone on and done

00:42worse. I live in London I'm like studying in London but I think if I were to have

00:47friends outside that are studying outside London I think even if I wanted to explore

00:50England sometimes like a big turn off is when I look at tickets like even to go

00:54to like Manchester and I had to pay like £60 I was like whoa.
