00:00We know how important the Commonwealth Games are to many of our athletes so to have that
00:05announcement and the support we're getting through the Scottish Government, the UK Government
00:10and Glasgow City in concert with the CGF was really important so we were absolutely delighted.
00:16There were five pinnacle events as part of the high performance strategy taking us through
00:20to 32 and we've now got a Commonwealth Games back as part of those five pinnacle events
00:25so our focus is on the future, our focus is on the athletes.
00:28We haven't got time really to look back, we've got less than two years to get the team on
00:32the park so we're focused on that right now.
00:35I think the resilience of the brand has been demonstrated by what's been happening over
00:39the last few weeks and the fact that our friends in Scotland have put their hand up to host
00:43the Games that should have been coming here to Australia so the fact that there's such
00:48a strong commitment around the Commonwealth to make sure these Games happen is a real
00:52testament to the strength of the brand.
