Meta spent $23 million on Mark Zuckerberg’s security

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Tesla CEO Elon Musk are well protected,even if it costs their companies millions.

00:07Last year, Meta spent $23.4 million in personal security for Mark Zuckerberg,

00:13including $9.4 million in direct security costs and another $14 million in annual pre-tax allowance

00:21meant to cover additional costs related to Mr. Zuckerberg and his family's personal security.

00:26As for Tesla, they paid $2.4 million in 2023 to a security company owned by Musk for security

00:33services. And they added on another $500,000 through February of this year, according to

00:39an SEC filing. NVIDIA spent $2.2 million on residential security and consultation fees

00:45for Jensen Wang. And Apple spent $820,309 for expenses related to Tim Cook's security,

00:52not including the $1.6 million it paid for his private jet use.
