First look at new speciality running store in Bristol that is the only of its kind in the country

Owner Jamie Williamson explains how KINSI Run Hub works and what sets it apart from other running shops

00:00We offer what's called a movement analysis.

00:01Basically, people book onto a 30-minute appointment.

00:04They come along, first 5-10 minutes we spend just talking to them,

00:07understanding their history, their goals,

00:09their running shoes they've had before, any injury problems,

00:12to build a bit of a picture of their running journey.

00:14And then following that, we start the analysis.

00:17So that involves initially taking them barefoot.

00:20They walk up and down over what are called pressure plates.

00:22From that, we get a heat map on a screen of their feet,

00:25and we can see how they're moving,

00:26and then recommend the most suitable shoes,

00:28which we then bring out the back.

00:29They test, and hopefully find a pair that they like,

00:33and allows them to experience their best run.
