People on the street: How good will Oasis actually be?

Everyone has been talking about the Oasis reunion, with that in minds, we’ve asked the people on the streets of Manchester whether they think that the Gallagher brothers will be able to recapture the magic.

00:00Hi, I'm Theo with Manchester World and today I'm out on the streets of Manchester asking

00:03people once again about Oasis and that's because we want to know what people think about the

00:07reunion, we want to know whether people still think that Oasis is the best Manchester band,

00:11we want to know whether they think that things are going to go swimmingly, whether it's all

00:14a bit of a cash grab or whether it is just going to be a great set of shows.

00:18No, I think it's going to be good, there's a slight worry obviously that they're going

00:21to fall out halfway through, but that's standard, they did that back in the day anyway.

00:27Liam's talked about how he's wanted to get it back together for so long and Noel's probably

00:31just finally, something's just switched and he realises that he could do something great.

00:37I've been following Oasis for years, saw them back in the day before they got really famous,

00:44we were just really gutted that we couldn't get tickets, they're so hard to get.

00:48And yeah, my first reaction was like, I need to get tickets, but unfortunately I didn't

00:53manage to, I was on Ticketmaster for a few hours in the morning and then I just gave up basically.
