00:00Oasis's conception goes way back to 1991. Characterised as one of the biggest genre-defining
00:08and decade-defining groups globally, Oasis was originally formed of brothers Liam and
00:13Noel obviously, guitarist Paul Arthurs, bassist Paul McGugan and drummer Tony McCarroll. Now,
00:20the line-up was subject to change over years gone by and it's not entirely clear yet who
00:25fans will be seeing perform on tour with the Gallagher brothers. Now, it was their song
00:30Supersonic which released in 1994 which was the band's first major release. Hitting number two
00:35on the UK indie chart, Supersonic seemed to shoot Oasis into superstardom. It was the subsequent
00:41release of album Definitely Maybe which furthered the band's success and it's when What's The Story
00:47Morning Glory was released that it cemented their superstardom. Some career highlights worthy of
00:52mention include their onslaught of Glastonbury gigs. Performing in 1995, the band headlined
00:58Glastonbury on the celebrated Pyramid Stage, previewing tracks from their as yet unreleased
01:04album What's The Story Morning Glory. Later in 2004, the band headlined once again, this time
01:10alongside former Beatles royalty Sir Paul McCartney and Pump Rockers Muse. And then it all came to a
01:17halt in 2009. The now infamous bust up between brothers Liam and Noel saw the band break up.
01:23What do we know about what happened and why it took so long to solve? Now, let's go back to
01:28Paris 2009. The Gallagher brothers were set to play at the Rock in Seine festival but just before
01:34going on stage, the brothers traded blows in a fight which saw the performance cancelled and
01:39which saw Liam reportedly smash Noel's guitar after hearing he was quitting. Now, whilst the brothers
01:45have been seen to sling insults at each other on social media over the past few years,
01:50reports have said that following Noel's split with former wife
01:53Sarah McDonald, the brothers are the closest they've been in years.
