Nikki Bella is on the hunt for a divorce lawyer ... TMZ has learned.

00:00So, Nikki Bella, we were all over this story last week.

00:04We told you about Nikki and her husband,

00:07Artem from Dancing with the Stars,

00:09that he was arrested last Thursday

00:12for a felony domestic battery

00:15where he had called 911 to say

00:18somebody needed medical attention.

00:20Then he called them back and said,

00:22no, we don't need it.

00:23But that triggered the cops coming to the house.

00:25They saw bruises on Nikki and they arrested him.

00:30Well, she has taken almost immediate steps,

00:33it appears, to end this marriage.

00:36Wow.

00:37She is shopping for divorce lawyers.

00:40She has been doing it since Friday.

00:43There have been at least-

00:44Next day.

00:45There have been at least several calls.

00:48So that was Friday she started.

00:50Saturday, she showed up in Las Vegas

00:53because she was hosting the hot dog-

00:56Yeah, Unfinished Beef, Kobayashi and Joey Chestnut,

01:00the big matchup on Labor Day.

01:01I knew you knew that part.

01:02My expertise, hot dogs.

01:06So she showed up noticeably.

01:08Look at that left hand, no wedding ring.

01:11And she normally wears one.

01:13So that was a sign.

01:16We now know beyond that that no,

01:19that she is shopping for divorce lawyers.

01:21It made sense to me, Harv,

01:22she didn't have the wedding ring on,

01:23they just went through something traumatic.

01:25And quite possibly they could have gotten back together.

01:28She throws the ring back on.

01:29It does not seem like that's going to happen.

01:31It seemed like this marriage is done.

01:34Now, the odd thing about this to me

01:37is that there has been no evidence

01:40that she has tried to get a restraining order.

01:43And this is something that is typical

01:46in where there's a domestic violence arrest,

01:49especially a felony arrest,

01:52where the police often get a restraining order

01:56and that lasts about five days.

01:58Emergency protective order.

02:00But then she can go into court and get one as well.

02:03And the reason this is so common,

02:05they have a kid, they have a four-year-old son,

02:07and the son was present during this.

02:11So, you know, a lot of times the one parent

02:15who's the alleged victim will get a restraining order,

02:18especially when there's a kid involved

02:19to keep the alleged perpetrator away from the house.

02:25That has not happened so far.

02:26You're right, and that's the most curious part

02:28of this whole thing, because what we're told

02:29is that she is apparently living in the marital home

02:32with their young son, Mateo,

02:34and he's no longer in the home.

02:35But you would think in an abundance of caution

02:37that you would want some ability

02:38to have court order protection

02:40to keep him away from the home.

02:41This was serious enough that he was booked on that felony

02:44and held on $25,000 bail,

02:46which is a pretty high bail amount.

02:47He did bail out.

02:48And you would think someone would seek a restraining order

02:51or get the emergency protective order,

02:52but we've seen no evidence of that yet.

02:53Right, because she would get it.

02:55I mean, obviously, it would have been granted.

02:57Granted like that.

02:58Sort of indicates that she's not afraid of him.

03:00Well, and by the way, and this is,

03:02we're not in any way trying to throw shade on Nikki.

03:04No, not at all.

03:05That's her choice, and clearly,

03:07she thinks it's serious enough

03:08that she's taking steps to end the marriage right now.

03:11So, you know, and again, people can have a change of heart,

03:14but right now, no wedding ring,

03:16shopping for divorce lawyers, he's not in the house.

03:20So all signs are pointing to this.

03:22The only thing I could think of

03:22is when she was seen out at the Joey Chestnut

03:25and Kobayashi event, she doesn't look injured

03:27in any particular obvious way.

03:28She is not wearing the wedding ring,

03:31but she wasn't wearing glasses to cover anything

03:33in all of the pictures or anything like that.

03:34We don't know where injuries took place.

03:36There could have been red marks, Derek.

03:38I mean, it doesn't necessarily have to be

03:40like a lasting injury.

03:41And a butt line of her body's covered.

03:42We have no idea.

03:43I will say this, the crowd, I mean,

03:45they're like, we love you, Nikki.

03:46She got an incredible amount of support

03:48from all of the people who were at

03:50that hot dog eating competition, so.

03:52Speaking of, just, and I know this is

03:55kind of a left turn here.

03:57How does anybody eat 83 hot dogs and 83 buns?

04:01Right, in 10 minutes.

04:02In 10 minutes.

04:03And they had different rules,

04:05different rules than at the Nathan's contest.

04:06You could not dunk the buns in the water

04:09which softens them up.

04:10So a dry hot dog with dry buns.

04:12Harvey, this is an incredible difference

04:14between the Nathan's contest because the way

04:15they swallow so many is by dunking them in water

04:17and basically not chewing them.

04:19Here they had to do it dry and he broke any record.

04:21He's never even eclipsed 80 yet.

04:22And he got to 83, 17 more than Kobayashi.

04:25I don't want to split hairs here,

04:26but he is drinking water.

04:28You know what he was doing?

04:29He was putting a lot of water in his mouth

04:30and then stuffing the hot dog buns in his mouth.

04:32So it is kind of like drenching the hot dogs.

04:33Sort of, he found a way around it.

04:36Incredible.

04:37Kobayashi ate 66.

04:39He got blown out by Joey Chestnut.

04:40Kobayashi would have won the Nathan's contest

04:43by eight hot dogs.

04:44These guys are, they're incredible.

04:46It's insane.

04:46And neither of them, go back to these pictures.

04:49Their skin, their fit.

04:51And Kobayashi is jacked.

04:52He really is.

04:53And how is that?

04:55You would think it would be like a big fat guy.

04:56Like you would think it would be like me up there.

04:59Sitting.

05:02Not that fat.

05:08As for those hot dogs,

05:12I do believe that they are able to eat that many

05:15because they're 10 grams of protein per hot dog.

05:18So he can get fit and eat all those hot dogs all at once.

05:22But as for the Nikki Belli situation,

05:27I think it's a very challenging time for her.

05:29And as a former fan of her time in the WWE,

05:32I really do hope that she gets the proper support

05:35to get this divorce.

05:36And as for why she didn't get the restraining order,

05:40I'm sure someone like her has private security

05:43that she can utilize to help protect her

05:46and the safety of her son.

05:47I think you're dead on with Nikki,

05:50but I will say, do not give people you know diet advice.

05:54If you're telling them,

05:55oh, you get 10 grams of protein from one hot dog.

05:59You eat 83 hot dogs and you're just gonna be jacked.

06:02I wouldn't give that advice to people, okay?

06:05Seven million grams of fat.
