Moment US rapper Fatman Scoop collapses on stage before dying

US rapper Fatman Scoop, real name Isaac Freeman III, collapsed mid-performance during a concert in Hamden, Connecticut.

The 53-year-old fell after performing his hit song "Be Faithful" and was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Witnesses report that he slurred his words before collapsing.

The show continued briefly to allow medical services to arrive without crowd interference.

Hamden Mayor Lauren Garrett confirmed Freeman's transportation to the hospital and asked for thoughts and prayers.
