Islam is a monotheistic Abrahamic faith that believes in one God, Allah, and follows the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, who is considered the final prophet in a line that includes figures such as Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. The core texts of Islam are the Qur'an, which is considered the literal word of God as revealed to Muhammad, and the Hadith, which are sayings and actions of Muhammad.

Islamic practice is guided by the Five Pillars of Islam:

1. **Shahada (Faith)**: Professing the oneness of God and Muhammad as His prophet.
2. **Salah (Prayer)**: Performing ritual prayers five times a day.
3. **Zakat (Charity)**: Giving to those in need and supporting the welfare of the community.
4. **Sawm (Fasting)**: Observing fasting during the month of Ramadan from dawn to sunset.
5. **Hajj (Pilgrimage)**: Undertaking a pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca at least once in a lifetime, if financially and physically able.

Islam emphasizes submission to the will of Allah, adherence to ethical guidelines, and living a life of righteousness and justice.

00:00The existence of our entire universe and everything in it comes down to about 30 numbers.
00:06Now these numbers are fixed values of a fundamental physical condition we find in our universe.
00:12For example, the force of gravity or the expansion rate of the universe.
00:17Now here's the amazing part.
00:19Each one of these numbers are so perfectly precise and so balanced with one another
00:25that if any one of them were off, plus or minus the slimmest fraction,
00:30in some cases literally this much,
00:34there would be no life and no universe as we know it.
00:38For example, if the mass of a tiny little proton was just a tiny bit bigger,
00:43there'd be no hydrogen, which means no hydrogen stars,
00:46which means no carbon and oxygen made in those stars,
00:49which basically means no water and no biology.
00:53So it appears to most physicists, not to all.
