00:00We begin with Courtney's guy, Jalen Brown,

00:02talking about how great of a summer he's had,

00:05but it's time to get back to work

00:07and he knows they have a target on their back.

00:09Last year is over, to be honest.

00:11You know, we celebrated, we had a good time.

00:14It's been an awesome summer.

00:15I've been having a great summer, by the way.

00:17But it's over with.

00:19Now it's back to work.

00:20Now we got the target on our back.

00:22Everybody's trying to come after us

00:25and I'm like, come on.

00:26So it's back to work, you know,

00:28and I'm looking forward to next season.

00:31Yeah, I love that.

00:32I'm like, come on, that's great.

00:33Yeah, I would say the best thing

00:37that happened to the Celtics after the chaos

00:40at the beginning of the Olympics

00:41with Jalen being left off and all that

00:43was how Steve Kerr treated Jason Tatum.

00:46I think what could have been,

00:48not a dividing issue in general,

00:50but could have been a bigger problem,

00:53Tatum and Brown now have a shared enemy.

00:56Yeah, and that's called the NBA.

00:58Right, like I feel like it's so good.

01:01I am so shocked.

01:02I was trying to figure this out

01:04with Ken a couple of weeks ago.

01:05The last time a champion was so much better

01:08than every other team they played,

01:10was so young and had really been knocking at the door

01:15for as long as Jalen and Jason were,

01:17to then have their championship met

01:19with such blatant disregard for how successful it was.

01:24I mean, I really thought, Courtney,

01:26at the beginning you were making a mountain

01:27out of a molehill when you were talking

01:29about the negative commentary about the road,

01:31because it began with easy road, injuries.

01:34And I was like, well, that's true.

01:36But that was just the beginning of this litany of excuses

01:40the NBA media had.

01:42And then it leads to the USA.

01:44I'm just disappointed they're not getting their rings

01:46in front of Golden State.

01:46I thought that would have been awesome.

01:48It would have been awesome.

01:48Well, I tell you, it's gonna be an awesome season.

01:52Expectations are gonna be high around here.

01:54I can't wait.

01:56We all expect that they have enough talent

01:59and they have the capability to get right back there

02:01and win another one.

02:02There are a lot of people who are picking the Celtics to win.

02:04So I'm with you on that.

02:06And we talked about this the other day,

02:09whether it's the Red Sox or the Patriots,

02:12I don't think anybody is really looking at them

02:15and going, all right, they bring me excitement.
