00:10made a major announcement about investment plans today. Waitrose has revealed plans to
00:17open up to 100 convenience shops across the UK over the next five years as part of £1
00:23billion investment in its chain of supermarkets. The first new Waitrose store to open in six
00:29years is set to be in Hampton Hill in London later this year, followed by more in London
00:36and across the country. The £1 billion will be spent on launching the new shops and improving
00:42150 existing shops, almost half of its entire chain, the company said. So major investment
00:49announced from Waitrose is unveiled plans to open up to 100 convenience shops across
