00:00Yeah it was it was absolutely fantastic and that Saturday afternoon and afternoon ascent of the
00:05night glow were definitely went down in Fiesta history. We had that perfect southwesterly wind
00:12that took 60 odd balloons straight over the city. Some great footage from Troopers Hill that you
00:19might have seen on TikTok and Instagram of balloons coming quite close to the crowd and
00:25everyone cheering. So it was really quite special and I think after you know there's been a lot of
00:29uncertainty about a lot of events in the UK but Fiesta's not been sort of alone in that and it's
00:38been great to you know remind everyone why this thing's so special and why it's so Bristol.
00:44And why is it so special?
00:47It's a I always wonder really. I think there's you know there's obviously something about the
00:53history of the whole of the whole event. It's you know for something to go for so long 46 years
00:59and when you put lots of them together like we did this weekend it just becomes even more magical
01:05and yeah lift spirits gives kids a lovely lovely warm feeling and yeah we hope we did the city proud.
01:13And this year was a massive success does that mean we will have a balloon fiesta next year as well
01:20hopefully for many more years?
01:21Well we certainly hope so. We've got a little bit more bean counting and spreadsheet calculations to
01:28work out. It is it's looking more promising and I think you know the good news is that we are
01:34we've made a significant shift into a good place for the fiesta but there's lots more work still
01:40to do and you know as we hurtle towards the 50th anniversary in 2028 you know we're starting to
01:46think about all the amazing things we could do to really make it a complete and utter belter.
01:52But I guess the one thing I'm I'm worried and concerned about now is how do we top this year?
01:58I mean that's a challenge.
