The weekend included two beautiful night glows and a beautiful mass ascent that filled the bristol sky with hot air balloons. But what is the roundup of this years event?

00:00Bristol's 2024 International Balloon Fiesta has officially finished, and this year saw

00:10thousands of locals ascend onto Ashton Court to witness some balloons.

00:17As a non-profit event, it takes an incredible amount of year-round dedication by a small

00:22team of mainly volunteers to host the world-renowned event.

00:28Bristol International Balloon Fiesta team said they are incredibly proud that for the

00:33last 46 years they've stayed true to their constitution to keep the event free for the

00:39people of Bristol.

00:42Highlights of this year's event included the Saturday mass ascent, including a balloon

00:47for Jack O'Sullivan, the missing 22-year-old teen, and balloons from other companies such

00:54as Virgin and Belmont Estate.
