Orsted reveal consultation feedback for Isle of Man windfarm

00:00John, we'll start with you. Can you tell us what the reaction's been from the people?

00:04I understand there's about 40 people through the door so far here today?

00:08Yeah, that's so far here today in Douglas at the Santander Work Cafe. We've had some events

00:14a couple of weeks ago as well in Laxey and in Ramsey, some really good turnout there.

00:19I'm really encouraged by the engagement, I think that's the way I would put it.

00:23You kind of come into these events and processes wondering what people's interest and what

00:28questions they might have, but the reality is everyone's got really meaningful feedback,

00:32really meaningful questions for the team. We've been very pleased to be able to respond to

00:36everyone individually who've emailed through questions so far and we'll continue to do that

00:40through to the end of the consultation on the 11th of September. But I think I keep emphasising

00:46everywhere I go really, it's about feedback. We're here to listen and discuss the proposals

00:51before we take the feedback and look to review that and refine our plans before we make the

00:56planning application. So it's really important that people fill in the feedback forms and give

01:01us as much input as they can.
