00:00Just a few years ago, if you were to come to me, no one would know anything about it.
00:11Even in schools, if I would say I'm from Palestine, everyone would be like, what?
00:15What is this?
00:16Where does it go?
00:17Or they'd be like, oh, is that Pakistan?
00:19Is that Israel?
00:20So I'm like, people didn't even know there's something called Palestine that existed before.
00:24And I'm talking about educated people, teachers and students.
00:29So seeing these students fight, literally seeing this on campus, in universities, I cried.
00:36I was like, two years ago, literally no one knew anything about it.
00:40So the fact that our generation now knows what's going on, that in itself is a victory.
00:46The way we act to it and our representatives act to it also plays a point in how long this
00:53is going to take and how many lives we're going to lose.
00:56So it is sad, but I mean, thinking of just two years ago, the same genocide happened
01:03and no one knew anything about it, it's like, there's hope.
