00:00My name is Ryan Villa. I am the director and founder of Beast Mentality Trainings, LLC.
00:16What made you want to join Beast Mentality? It gave me an opportunity to play with a different
00:21group of guys, play high-level basketball, and try and get my name out there more. I
00:25wanted to join Beast Mentality because I felt like I wanted to come into somewhere with a culture,
00:30somewhere where I could improve as a player. Life off the court is a lot, you know, and
00:36sometimes people use basketball as like peace. It's a brotherhood, just looking for people that
00:41hoop every day, you know, show love on the court, on and off the court. Just a family,
00:47that's what I really was looking for. I love basketball so, you know, gotta have love for
00:51the game. I started coming to Ryan's Open Gym, so he asked me to be on the team. Seeing all my
00:57players succeed is what brings Beast Mentality together and how we work together as a team.
01:07We worked hard to get to that point in the championship game. We won in mid-June,
01:13around mid-June, and that was the biggest accomplishment we had because it's our second
01:19season. The way we came about is just a lot of hard work. This gym right behind us is where we
01:26practice every Friday and because that's as much as we can do, but we make the best of it.
01:34I just took a chance. When I took the chance, I didn't know where it was going to end up,
01:40and right now I am grateful I didn't stop chasing my dream.
01:491, 2, 3, Beast! 4, 5, 6, Beast!
