00:00Alright, hi people, it's Shakes here and I'm here to do another unboxing for you guys today
00:05of An Adventure in Space and Time, the Doctor Who, uh, what do you call it, uh, biography
00:15that came out in 2013, um, or biopic, something like that, uh, based around the first three
00:22years of the show and the original Doctor William Hartnell as played here by David Bradley,
00:28who would go on to play the first Doctor in Doctor Who three years, no, not even three
00:33years, um, four years, four years later, uh, as well as in the 2022 special, as well as
00:42Big Finish Doctor Who stuff, so yeah, and you may notice that video is in 60fps, that's
00:48because, well, the iPod that I recorded these things on, the battery jetted out, so I either
00:57need to get that fixed or start recording on my phone, yeah, but, yeah, so, whatever,
01:06uh, there's a good re- there's good reasons to have this in 60fps, but yeah, um, so yeah,
01:14but not only does this come with the Blu-ray and DVD, uh, of the biopic, but also, um,
01:22a DVD containing all four episodes of an adventurance, or not, not an adventure, it's
01:29not, uh, the first-ever Doctor Who story, serial, whatever, um, and an unearthly child,
01:37so yeah.
01:38Part of the reason that it got banned is because the writer's son, who controls the rights
01:45to the story with the BBC, can go suck a dick because of how much of a bigot he is, so yeah.
01:52Um, but yeah, and if they ever do release a season one set for Doctor Who, and I hope
01:58that they do so eventually, um, for the Blu-ray sets, um, hopefully they can release, um,
02:07an unearthly child with it, but we'll see.
02:09But yeah, so, right on the front here, I'm assuming this originally came with a slip
02:13cover, but because I ordered it 11 years after it came out, well, you can see that, or 10
02:19years, probably, actually, but yeah, it's a Blu-ray DVD, bonus DVD, BBC, an adventure
02:24in space and time, the, uh, Matt Smith mainly era Doctor Who logo, a full-throttled, heartfelt
02:32origin story of Doctor Who, Mahoney, the Rotten Reporter, you got the TARDIS right there,
02:37with the, um, more retro, original, uh, time vortex, I believe, or just the effect that
02:45they used for the opening sequence for William Artinall and Patrick Troughton, on the side
02:52right here, Spine, BBC, the TARDIS again, an adventure in space and time, three discs,
02:57Blu-ray, and then on the back, you got some screenshots from it, uh, or more so actually
03:04set pictures, I think, while they shot it, fascinating story of pluck, look, and imagination,
03:10delightfully rendered, TV guide, a description of the sets, and the bonus features, so yeah,
03:17main feature, HD, 1080p, 16 by 9, DTS HD 5.1, 90 minutes, approximately, subtitles in English,
03:24SDH, special features may be in high def, aspect ratio, audio, and subtitles may vary,
03:30and all that, so yeah, so here we go, on the inside, you got disc 1, disc 2, and disc 3,
03:38which has just elements like child, so yeah, so, not much else to say,
03:46so, link's in the description to all my shit, subscribe if you want, and I'll see you guys in the next one.
