00:12Americans had this game circled and everybody probably paying closer

00:16attention to it than we would have maybe two and a half weeks ago after South

00:20Sudan in the exhibition lead up to these Olympic Games gave the Americans a test

00:27in that exhibition matchup 101 100 the United States survived this is the score

00:33from yesterday that we'll get to in just a moment but because of that Steve

00:38current team USA said listen we are going into this game with the

00:42appropriate amount of respect for the South Sudanese and yesterday with just a

00:4728 and a half point spread that was working consistently against the

00:51Americans all week long it opened at 31 and a half 32 it was more than a 40

00:56point spread for that exhibition matchup in London a few weeks back South

01:01Sudan does cover 103 86 the United States victorious a perfect 2 and 0 in

01:08group C action a 17 point win the Americans handled their business but

01:14South Sudan earning some respect on this international stage oh sure looking good

01:19out there one and one in competition you certainly didn't expect to upset team

01:22USA you got close to it in the friendly game but now when you see the

01:26competition ramp up team USA really dispatched of them quickly just rode

01:30that second half out because also you're taking a look at the Olympics you want

01:33to get a lot of guys involved you certainly want to get that flow and then

01:35when you head into the knockout stages you probably know exactly who you're

01:39going to play and at what times but the thing I did like is LeBron James 12

01:42points Devin Booker 10 points Durant 14 points at a Bayou 18 points Edwards 13

01:47points white 10 points well you love to see that because yes you would like that

01:51easy wins and LeBron James has 33 points but I think it's great that you're

01:55getting a lot of guys playing around that 15 to 20 minute range but also

01:59being contributors and that's gonna bode well because when you look to a guy in a

02:03game consistently and he's not there oh no who's gonna step up there's plenty of

02:07superstars on this team everybody can step up at the right time and you saw

02:10that yesterday Joel Embiid did sit this game out I don't know if it's because

02:13it's these because it's just letting fit in against the South Sudan team who

02:17knows what it is but kind of interesting that Tatum sits out one game and B

02:20sits out another but again it really didn't matter was all said and done but

02:24I do like the camaraderie of this team where a lot of different guys are

02:27getting play scoring double digits that's good to see.
