00:00The physical work is almost ready, that is, by the end of October, all the physical work
00:22for these three projects, including several stations, especially the big station, the
00:28interchange in Bandar Utama, will be ready by the beginning of October.
00:33And after that, the system work and system integration will be started, and it is expected
00:40to take several months until early next year.
00:45And after that, it is ready for us to do testing.
00:50Testing and commissioning will take three to four months.
00:55So we expect that these three LRT projects will be fully ready and will start operations
01:03by the third quarter of next year.
01:06There is a slight delay compared to the original schedule, which was scheduled for March next year.
01:14This delay is due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are a lot of work that cannot be done.
01:21So there is a slight pushback in terms of time.
01:26However, the company, along with the contractor and all parties involved in this project
01:34have been trying to catch up with the time that has been delayed, and we have managed
01:42to reduce the delay.
01:45The LRT project is expected to start on the third quarter of next year, in August or September.
01:52The Ministerial Council meeting on July 5 agreed to resume the scope of the LRT project
02:03from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia, with the addition of five stations.
02:09Station Tropicana, Station Temasha, Station Raja Buda, Bukit Raja and Bandar Botanik.
02:17So there is an addition of five stations.
02:19This is the original scope that has been released earlier.
02:24Therefore, the Ministerial Council has agreed to return these five stations,
02:31along with several other works, namely the purchase of seven more sets of three-car trains,
02:37the expansion of the train depot in Johan Setia, and the purchase of 150 electric buses
02:44and the construction of three bus depots.
02:47So the cost of the return of the scope of the LRT project is a total of RM38 billion.
02:56The addition of these five stations and other works will take another two years
03:05but it will not affect the opening date.
03:11When we are ready to open for operation in the third quarter of next year,
03:16it will operate as usual for 20 stations.
03:20The construction of these stations will not interfere with the operation as it is.
03:25So two years later, there will be an addition of five stations,
03:28which means that the train can stop at those five stations.
03:34Thank you for watching.
