00:00Full time from Murrayfield and Manchester United have defeated Rangers 2-0 in their second pre-season friendly.
00:08Eric Ten Haag said he wanted to see an improvement from the side that lost 1-0 against Rosenborg in Trondheim on Monday.
00:15And he certainly got that today. Ahmad Diallo was a standout performer for United against the team he used to play for on low.
00:22And he opened the scoring with a brilliant goal, brilliant move from him cutting in from the right-hand side and firing low into the bottom left corner of the match.
00:29I guess the headlines though were that Lenny Yoro made his Manchester United debut who looked very impressive and calm and composed at the back.
00:36There was a few little sloppy passes but overall he was very calm and composed as I said and made some important blocks as well.
00:42One to deny a certain goal for Rangers and another that denied a clear shot at goal as well.
00:48Jadon Sancho, he returned to United his first appearance in 329 days since that 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest last season.
00:56He was lively, he was good as well. Like I said, Ahmad was a standout performer in the first half.
01:01I'd say that Sancho was a close second and Yoro was one of many who also caught the eye.
01:05United made also changes at half-time. Again, all the outfield players were changed.
01:10André Lunardo was the only player who kept his place. United actually did score a second goal through Joe Kugel.
01:15It was good play from Hannibal and Maxi Oyedele in the field and Joe Kugel with an emphatic finish to wrap it up and make it 2-0.
01:22The second half was a bit of a training exercise, there wasn't too much excitement.
01:27Eric Turnhard will be pleased with what he saw. The senior stars certainly caught the eye and looked much closer to match fitness.
01:34And yes, the youngsters held their own in the second half against quite an experienced Rangers team.
01:38And a few of those players will be on the plane for the United play-off to the US next week.
01:42Full-time for Murrayfield, Manchester United 2, Rangers 0.
