00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:26We praise Him, and we send salutations upon His noble Messenger.
00:29After this, I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
00:32In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:34Allah, the Exalted, says in the Glorious Qur'an and the Praiseworthy Qur'an,

15:43They look at their friends, neighbours, neighbours,
15:47whoever they feel is in need,
15:49they quietly go and present it to them.
15:56The second number is Yateem.
15:58Yateem is the one whose father has passed away
16:02and the child is also immature.
16:04He has no one to earn for him.
16:08He has become more in need.
16:10He is a small child,
16:11he has no one to earn for him.
16:13So a person from among the Abraars,
16:15from among the Nekokars,
16:16stands up and says,
16:18if you have no one to earn for you,
16:20then I will earn for you.
16:23Huzoor used to search for Yateem.
16:26If there is an Yateem, tell me.
16:29So in one hand,
16:30Huzoor used to hold the finger of Imam Hussain
16:33and in the other hand,
16:35Huzoor used to hold the finger of an Yateem.
16:39Huzoor used to say,
16:40the one who has no one,
16:41I am his.
16:43The one who has no one to ask for him,
16:45I am the one to ask for him.
16:48Yateem says,
16:49my father has passed away
16:51and from that society,
16:52people rise up,
16:53the Abraars,
16:54the Nekokars,
16:55and they say to the children,
16:56don't worry,
16:57we will fulfill your need.
17:01And the third one is said,
17:02Wa Aseeran,
17:03and the prisoner.
17:06The prisoner is in a more difficult situation.
17:08That means,
17:09he is in chains.
17:13He has no freedom.
17:15He can go anywhere
17:16and he is in need of food and water.
17:19In those days,
17:20the treatment of prisoners was also very bad.
17:24Because,
17:25the prisoner who has come to you,
17:28he was tied up in chains.
17:30And after being tied up in chains,
17:32when it was time to eat,
17:34he was left open.
17:35Go and ask for food.
17:37So he used to go
17:38and keep asking for food.
17:39He kept asking for food.
17:40He got it,
17:41he didn't get it.
17:42Then he came back at his time.
17:43If he got it,
17:44then it was fine.
17:45Otherwise,
17:46he was sitting hungry again.
17:47So the prisoners
17:48didn't feed him.
17:51They used to beg for food
17:52and then leave him.
17:55But sacrifice
17:56for the religion of Islam.
17:59You see,
18:00here,
18:01the word Aseer,
18:02Aseer means
18:03a war prisoner.
18:04Now,
18:05the prisoner
18:06who has come to you
18:07in the war,
18:09obviously,
18:10he will be a disbeliever.
18:12But,
18:13look at the mercy of my Lord.
18:14Look at that truth.
18:16Look at the glory of the Quran.
18:18That Allah has mentioned him
18:20that if you are,
18:21you are a disbeliever.
18:22You have committed a crime.
18:24If you are,
18:25you are a prisoner.
18:26You had come to kill.
18:28But now,
18:29you are here.
18:30So Allah says,
18:31feed the prisoner as well.
18:35He had come to kill.
18:37He was caught.
18:38Now,
18:39don't kill him,
18:40but feed him.
18:41You can take a ransom
18:42and leave him.
18:43Leave him.
18:44Freeing a prisoner
18:45has become a reward.
18:48Take a ransom
18:49and leave him.
18:50You know,
18:51on the occasion of Badr,
18:52many prisoners,
18:53disbelievers,
18:54came to the Muslims.
18:56The Prophet,
18:57peace be upon him,
18:58used to tell them,
19:00that taking care of the prisoners,
19:02taking care of the prisoners,
19:04and sacrifice yourself
19:06to the greatness of the companions,
19:08that the society,
19:10which used to beg the prisoners,
19:12has now changed
19:14in such a way,
19:15that the companions used to feed
19:17the prisoner first,
19:18and then eat themselves.
19:21Meaning,
19:22the one who used to survive,
19:24the disbeliever,
19:25the prisoner,
19:26they used to feed him first,
19:28and then ate the one who survived.
19:30Why?
19:32Their egos didn't come first.
19:35There is hostility.
19:36But they used to say,
19:37hostility comes later.
19:39First, it is the order of the Prophet.
19:42First, it is the order of the Lord.
19:44What the Lord said,
19:46that is the greatest.
19:48What the Prophet said,
19:49that is the greatest.
19:51Our matter will come later.
19:53If we take revenge from someone,
19:55take revenge,
19:56kill him,
19:57that you came to kill me,
19:59you came to kill me,
20:00all these things come later.
20:02So, to sacrifice your emotions,
20:05to control your ego,
20:07to change your nature and temperament,
20:10to take it to the direction
20:12that the Lord wants,
20:14the Prophet of the Lord wants.
20:16This is called faith.
20:18That religion is not the name
20:20to follow your desires,
20:22religion is the name
20:24to follow the Prophet.
20:26Religion is the name
20:28to follow the Prophet.
20:30Hazrat Bilal-e-Habshi,
20:31his mother is sick,
20:33her desire is to go and see the Prophet.
20:37And the Prophet says,
20:38go and see your mother.
20:40So, he sacrificed his desire
20:42not to go to the Prophet.
20:44The Prophet,
20:45from Hazrat Uwais-e-Qarni,
20:47from Hazrat Uwais-e-Qarni,
20:49the Prophet from Hazrat Uwais-e-Qarni
20:51prays for his Ummah.
20:54Why?
20:55He understood that religion
20:57is to follow the command of the Prophet.
20:59So, he was with his mother,
21:01but he was following religion.
21:03So, he is a prisoner.
21:05And under this,
21:07your servants come.
21:09These days,
21:10who you call servants,
21:12they come under this category.
21:14When the Prophet was being crucified,
21:16he said two sentences.
21:18This is a Hadith from Bukhari.
21:20As-sala wa ma malakat aimanukum
21:23Don't leave Salat
21:25and don't treat your servants badly.
21:30Don't leave Salat
21:31and don't treat your servants badly.
21:34Saying this,
21:35the Prophet sacrificed his life.
21:40So,
21:41these three things,
21:42miskeen,
21:43yateem,
21:44and aseer,
21:45are mentioned.
21:46And,
21:47in the Holy Quran,
21:48you will see it everywhere.
21:49Allah has mentioned them everywhere.
21:51This is not just one place.
21:52Ara'eetallazi yuqazzibu biddeed
21:54fazalikallazi yadu'ul yateem
21:57The one who rejects religion,
22:00he pushes the yateem.
22:04Yadu'ul yateem
22:06The word is such that
22:07you feel pushed while reading.
22:09Yadu'ul yateem
22:11He pushes the yateem.
22:13He rejects religion.
22:16And, it is said that
22:18Ara'eetallazi yuqazzibu biddeed
22:20fazalikallazi yadu'ul yateem
22:22wala yahuddu ala tu'aamil miskeen
22:25And he doesn't push anyone
22:27to feed the poor.
22:29If he doesn't have anything to feed,
22:32but he can use his tongue
22:33to help someone.
22:35He can say,
22:36help him,
22:37he is poor.
22:38And,
22:39he doesn't help anyone.
22:41Allah has also expressed anger at him.
22:44Yahuddu means to push.
22:46If you can make someone do something
22:48by saying it,
22:49Allah says, do it.
22:53And,
22:54in Surah Balad,
22:55falaqtaha mal'aqaba
22:56wama adraka mal'aqaba
22:58Allah says,
22:59I will tell you
23:00what it means to cross a valley.
23:03A wrestler thinks that
23:05he ran a horse,
23:07a valley came in between,
23:08he jumped over it,
23:10and went to the valley in front of him.
23:12So, this is crossing a valley.
23:15Allah says in Surah Balad,
23:17I will tell you
23:18what it means to cross a valley.
23:21wama adraka mal'aqaba
23:23I will tell you what it means.
23:25Allah says,
23:26faqqur'aqaba
23:27to free a slave.
23:31aw it'aamun fee yawmin zee masghaba
23:34The day you were hungry,
23:36you were feeding.
23:40yateeman za maqraba
23:42Relatives were feeding orphans.
23:46aw miskeenan za maqraba
23:48Some poor people were feeding the poor.
23:53In fact,
23:54the people of heaven and hell,
23:56who will have a dialogue,
23:57will ask the people of heaven and hell,
23:59in Surah Mudassir,
24:01ma salakakum fee saqar
24:03How did you reach hell?
24:05qalu lamnakum inal musalleen
24:07The people of hell will say,
24:08they didn't pray.
24:10lamnakum nut'imul miskeen
24:12And they didn't feed the poor.
24:16So they came to hell.
24:17In Surah Fajr, Allah says,
24:19qalla balla tukrimoon al yateem
24:22You don't respect orphans.
24:26wala tahaddoona ala tu'aamil miskeen
24:29You don't encourage people to feed the poor.
24:33lantana'alul birra hatta tunfiqu mimma tuhibboon
24:36You can't reach the level of goodness,
24:39until you spend what you like,
24:42in the way of Allah.
24:45This is the subject of the whole Quran.
24:48And in Ayat 9,
24:49the climax of this,
24:51they fed the poor.
24:52Now after feeding,
24:54what does the one who feeds declare?
24:56innama nut'imukum li wajhillah
24:58We feed you only for the sake of Allah.
25:03We feed you for the sake of Allah.
25:05li wajhillah
25:07We feed you only for the sake of Allah.
25:10la nureedu minkum jaza'an
25:13We don't want any practical change from you.
25:16jaza'
25:17wala shukuran
25:19And we don't want any linguistic change.
25:22We don't want you to do anything in our place.
25:25And we don't want you to say anything to us with your tongue.
25:29Sir, thank you very much.
25:31We don't want this either.
25:33We have only done it for the sake of Allah.
25:35Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa r.a,
25:38when she used to give to a servant,
25:40give this in the opinion of Allah.
25:41She used to say,
25:42whoever you give, listen to what he has said to me.
25:46If he has said,
25:48thanks to Ummul Momineen,
25:51then I will also say to him in reply,
25:53thanks to him.
25:55So that the word becomes equal to the word,
25:58and my charity is saved.
26:01Whoever says thank you to me,
26:05listen to those words.
26:07I will also say those words for him.
26:09And the charity I have given,
26:11may my charity be saved.
26:13May I say to Allah,
26:14I have not taken anything.
26:16I have spent for you, Maula.
26:18I have spent for you.
26:20This is the glory of Abrar.
26:23And some scholars say,
26:25this Surah was revealed in Makkah.
26:26Some say,
26:27it was revealed in Madinah.
26:28When it was revealed in Madinah,
26:30it was the famous incident,
26:31that Imam Hassan and Hussain became ill.
26:34May Allah be pleased with them.
26:35So Maula Kainat,
26:37Sayyida Kainat,
26:39and Fizza fasted.
26:41And fasting,
26:43we believe that we fast,
26:45so that they get cured.
26:47If they get cured,
26:48they will fast.
26:49So they got cured.
26:50So they said,
26:51we fast three times.
26:52So on the first day,
26:53some people made roti.
26:56So at Iftar time,
26:57a poor man came.
26:58He picked it up and gave it to him.
27:00What is the condition of a person at Iftar?
27:03A person doesn't look at anyone.
27:04He doesn't even want to come in front.
27:06I want to drink water first.
27:08But he,
27:10Maula Kainat,
27:12he picked up the roti and gave it to the poor man.
27:14The same thing happened on the second day.
27:17He gave it to the orphan.
27:18On the third day also,
27:19he gave it to the captive.
27:20He fasted for three days,
27:21without eating or drinking.
27:24Allah made that performance into the Quran.
27:39This is the family of the Prophet.
27:41And then the Prophet said,
27:43what did you fast for?
27:46This was Jibreel-e-Ameen,
27:47who came to be tested.
27:49And my Ahl-e-Bayt,
27:51became perfect in their test.
27:53They became perfect.
27:54They completed that test.
27:57And by adopting the method of the Prophet,
27:59they adopted this path.
28:02That in difficult times,
28:03they presented this character,
28:06that despite their own needs,
28:08and despite such a need,
28:11they took care of others.
28:14And Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
28:17used to spend two dirhams.
28:19He had such a passion for spending.
28:22He used to say,
28:23I will spend in one darkness,
28:25and I will spend in one light.
28:28Sometimes in the day,
28:30and sometimes at night.
28:31That I will come in the day,
28:32among those who give alms.
28:34And I will come in the night,
28:35among those who give alms.
28:38There was such a temperament,
28:40in the family of the Ahl-e-Bayt,
28:41and the companions of the Prophet,
28:42may Allah be pleased with them all.
28:45Sometimes he would give to his relatives,
28:47sometimes he would give to his friends,
28:50sometimes he would give to those in need.
28:53By changing colors.
28:55And he would be generous in every way.
28:58He would be generous in every way.
29:00And Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
29:02used to say,
29:03that the generosity of a person,
29:07The generosity of a person,
29:14makes him loved even by his enemies.
29:19Even the enemies love him.
29:21Take this generosity.
29:23Take this generosity,
29:24Hazrat Ali says.
29:25How do you want to be loved in this world?
29:29Be generous.
29:31Even the enemies,
29:34Even the enemies,
29:39make you loved.
29:44And he said,
29:45And the stinginess of a person,
29:48makes him an enemy even to his own children.
29:54The enemies,
29:56don't make the family happy.
29:58And the enemies,
29:59don't make the family happy.
30:04And Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
30:06used to say,
30:08that the generosity of a person,
30:17If someone wants to see how generous he is,
30:21If someone wants to see how generous he is,
30:28And Hazrat Imam Hassan, may Allah be pleased with him,
30:33He was called generous.
30:36And twice in his life,
30:38he gave 100% of his wealth to Allah.
30:43We look at the numbers.
30:45How much is 2.5%?
30:47How much is this?
30:49Isn't it more than 1 rupee?
30:51Isn't it more than 100 rupees?
30:52And this Imam Hassan,
30:54grandson of Mustafa,
30:56100% of his wealth,
30:58he gave it to him.
30:59Whatever gifts he received,
31:01whatever love,
31:02whatever wealth he had.
31:05So someone says,
31:07why do you do this?
31:10So you say,
31:12I have a Fakir.
31:15So I am also a Fakir of Allah.
31:18So I want no one to refuse me.
31:23So when someone comes to me,
31:24why should I refuse him?
31:26I have to give,
31:27I have to distribute.
31:29And Imam Hussain, may Allah be pleased with him,
31:32What a thing!
31:35It was well known,
31:36about Imam Hussain, may Allah be pleased with him,
31:39that whatever work is not done anywhere,
31:41it will be done by Hussain.
31:46Whatever loan he took,
31:48he used to complete it from somewhere.
31:51Imam Hussain never returned the debtor empty handed.
31:56This is the family of Mustafa,
31:58peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
32:00that his generosity was famous in the past.
32:04And not only in that time,
32:06I swear by Allah,
32:07in any era,
32:09in any era,
32:11he eats the charity of Ahlul Bayt.
32:14He eats the charity of Huzoor's family.
32:16The same generosity.
32:18And let me tell you this,
32:20it is a matter of great experience.
32:22What will we small people say about Imam Hussain?
32:25I see that even today,
32:27the Sayyids are generous.
32:31Look at the hearts of the Sayyids,
32:33how big their hearts are.
32:35If someone wants to identify the Sayyids,
32:39they are identified by their generosity.
32:42They are also identified by their big hearts.
32:45So I say,
32:47if this is the state of this Sayyid,
32:49then what will be the state of Imam Hussain?
32:52What will be the state of Imam Hussain?
32:55The generosity of whom Allah Himself describes.
32:59The generosity of whom Allah Himself describes.
33:03What will be the state of their generosity?
33:07So these are the verses of the Holy Quran,
33:10which describe the righteous,
33:13which describe the generous,
33:15which describe the companions,
33:18and describe the Ahlul Bayt,
33:20describe Hassan and Hussain,
33:23describe Sayyid-e-Kainat,
33:25describe Maula Ali.
33:27This is why it is said,
33:30O you who believe, fear Allah and be with the truthful.
33:35Be with the truthful.
33:38The one who is stingy should become generous.
33:42The one who stops, should be the one who distributes.
33:46Why?
33:47Because Huzoor was also the one who distributed.
33:54My Lord keeps on giving,
33:57I keep on distributing.
34:00So whoever wants to learn,
34:02he will have to connect with these personalities.
34:05And when a person learns from this,
34:08and connects with the society,
34:11you see these verses,
34:13we read these verses for a short time,
34:15did we not feel,
34:17how a person should be with others?
34:20How can a person connect with the other,
34:23who are in a different class,
34:25as a human being?
34:27This is the Quran,
34:28which does not break people,
34:30which gives loyalty,
34:32connects people,
34:34unites people.
34:36So if today we learn from these verses,
34:38in the context of the people of the Bai'at,
34:41that Inshallah,
34:43we also have to reach people,
34:46as they have shown us the way,
34:49then you can be sure,
34:51the purpose of Muharram al-Haram is fulfilled.
34:54And on the Day of Judgement,
34:56all the righteous,
34:58especially Imam Hussain,
35:01and Sayyid-ul-Anbiya Khatam-ul-Nabiyeen,
35:04Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa,
35:06will be happy.
35:08May Allah grant us,
35:10this understanding of the Quran,
35:12this awareness,
35:13this understanding,
35:14and by following this,
35:16the practical biography,
35:18of the people of the Bai'at,
35:20may Allah grant us the ability to adopt it.
35:25We talked about these verses,
35:27if any of these questions,
35:29comes to your mind,
35:31please do ask.
35:33Mufti sahab,
35:34what impact does the generosity,
35:36of the people of the Bai'at,
35:38have on this society?
35:40Mashallah,
35:42you listened very carefully,
35:44I thank you for your listening,
35:46and your love,
35:48and you asked a very good question,
35:50that when such characters develop,
35:53what impact do they have on the society?
35:57This is a very good thing,
35:59because we don't present characters,
36:01and we want change.
36:03We want to sleep at night,
36:05and wake up in the morning,
36:07and everything has changed,
36:09and we don't have to do anything.
36:11The companions of the Bai'at,
36:13didn't do this.
36:14They first acted,
36:15and then said,
36:16look at the change,
36:17in the society.
36:18So Hazrat Umar-e-Farooq,
36:20may Allah be pleased with him,
36:22has appointed the children,
36:24and when he saw the child crying,
36:26and someone said,
36:27that we have released the milk,
36:29so that it is given to the older children,
36:31and they get the duty,
36:32tears came to his eyes.
36:34He said,
36:35now you should give the duty,
36:36to the children who drink milk.
36:38And then Hazrat Umar was crying,
36:40and was saying,
36:41that Hazrat Umar,
36:42has given the right to the children,
36:43who drink milk.
36:45So much sharing,
36:47and the people of the Bai'at,
36:49may Allah be pleased with them,
36:52to look for small children,
36:54orphans,
36:55to look for themselves,
36:57to look for the poor,
36:59and to fulfill the needs of those people,
37:01so that they don't depend on anyone.
37:04So that they don't depend on anyone.
37:06So in that society,
37:08in that environment,
37:09you will see the effect,
37:11that there was no one to take Zakat.
37:14There was no one to take Zakat.
37:17People used to say,
37:18we have it.
37:19Now the giver is thinking,
37:20where should I give it?
37:22Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz,
37:24may Allah be pleased with him,
37:26he received a letter from Iraq,
37:28from the governor.
37:29He said,
37:30the Zakat that we collected,
37:32we have spent all of it.
37:35Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz said,
37:37now you have some money left,
37:39so do one thing,
37:41those people who are not married,
37:43get them married.
37:45The governor replied,
37:46I have already done that.
37:48He said,
37:49those who have debts,
37:50pay them.
37:51He said,
37:52I have already done that.
37:53He said,
37:54if you have to give a dowry to your wife,
37:56give it from the government.
37:57He said,
37:58I have already done that.
37:59He wrote three letters.
38:01In the fourth letter,
38:02he said,
38:03take the land that is not yours,
38:05and spend the money on it.
38:07There is no one to take it,
38:09on that land,
38:10that give it in this amount,
38:12or in that amount.
38:13So today,
38:14you see,
38:15tax,
38:16Zalimana tax,
38:17electricity bill,
38:18you see,
38:19means,
38:20the tax that you are taking,
38:22what is the return of that?
38:24So,
38:25when there is a division in the society,
38:27the people who have to give,
38:29the society in which it comes,
38:31then,
38:32the society becomes stable.
38:34The rights of the people are fulfilled.
38:37These are the effects of the society.
38:41MashaAllah,
38:42Allama sahib,
38:43first of all,
38:44may Allah keep you safe,
38:45such a beautiful conversation,
38:47may Allah bless you in your knowledge.
38:49Ameen.
38:50You are saying such a beautiful thing in the glory of Ahlul Bayt,
38:52I just want to keep listening to you.
38:54And the one who is being mentioned,
38:56just keep listening to him.
38:59My question to Allama sahib,
39:01in the glory of Ahlul Bayt,
39:03that,
39:04Ahlul Bayt were so strict,
39:06what was the fundamental reason for this?
39:08Allahu Akbar.
39:09You asked a very good question.
39:11It is a very central question.
39:13If this question is solved,
39:15then all the disputes will be solved.
39:17Because,
39:18if you are asked,
39:20what is the reason for the generosity of Ahlul Bayt,
39:23you can combine all the things with it.
39:27In that era,
39:28the companions,
39:29the Ahlul Bayt,
39:30what is the reason for such and such goodness?
39:32There is a reason for every goodness.
39:35Just understand it this way,
39:37that in the world,
39:38fundamentally,
39:39after the advent of the Prophet,
39:41the center of goodness is Muhammad-e-Mustafa.
39:47The one who became connected to the Prophet,
39:50and then whatever goodness was created in him,
39:52the reason for that is the Prophet himself.
39:56The companions got companionship,
39:58because of the Prophet.
40:00The Ahlul Bayt got to have a family,
40:03because of Mustafa.
40:05And then,
40:06the one who found perfection,
40:08the center of perfection is Muhammad-e-Mustafa.
40:12The Prophet is the real reason for everything.
40:14The rest,
40:15they all follow the Prophet.
40:17They all take from the Prophet.
40:19The Prophet is the one who gives to everyone.
40:22The center is Mustafa.
40:24So,
40:25what you said,
40:26what is the reason for the generosity of Ahlul Bayt,
40:29then the reason for the generosity of Ahlul Bayt,
40:33in one sentence,
40:35is the generosity of Muhammad-e-Mustafa.
40:38When the grandfather was generous,
40:40the grandchildren were generous.
40:42When the father was generous,
40:44the daughter was generous.
40:46And when the Prophet was generous,
40:48Maula Ali was generous.
40:50Hazrat Abu Bakr was generous.
40:52Hazrat Umar was generous.
40:54Hazrat Usman was generous.
40:56Hazrat Ali was generous.
40:58The one who has found generosity in the world,
41:00after the Prophet,
41:01he found it from the Prophet.
41:03Because all the treasures of Muhammad-e-Mustafa
41:05have been distributed.
41:07They all take from the Lord.
41:09They all distribute.
41:11The one who distributes,
41:13he is on the path of Mustafa.
41:33The one who distributes,
41:35he is on the path of Muhammad-e-Mustafa.
