00:16Anwar said this is in consideration of the additional financial implications of 121.6
00:22million ringgit a year that Felda will bear because of the increased diesel prices.
00:27He said the government has prepared aid for targeted groups in need, including smallholders.
00:32Anwar also announced the government's approval of 31.7 million ringgit for 317 Felda settlements
00:39under its Sejahtera Community Medani program, adding that Felda's involvement in the program
00:43has boosted economic activities at the community level.
00:47Effective June 10, the government set the retail price of diesel at RM3.35 per litre
00:52at all petrol stations throughout Peninsular Malaysia, while the price in Sabah, Sarawak
00:57and Labuan remained at RM2.50 per litre.
