00:00Well, it's been six decades, 60 years next year since your first gig.

00:06That's right.

00:07Copper Tone.

00:08I was a Copper Tone girl, that's true.

00:11Does it feel like that or did it just move by?

00:15Well, it just feels like different people.

00:17I think there were different people that did different things.

00:19The first part of my career is pretty much my whole childhood,

00:21so that's just about memories of being on movie sets

00:24and being with my mom and traveling around the country

00:27and doing this.

00:30I don't ever remember not doing acting, so I don't remember that.

00:34This is the most exciting decade, for sure, being 60, I think.

00:38It is.

00:39I think it is, weirdly.

00:40I think there's a kind of contentedness

00:42and the kind of work that I get to do without anxiety.

00:47There isn't a lot of anxiety, I think.

00:49I accomplished a whole bunch of my little bucket list things

00:51and I can just throw that out,

00:53and now it's really a lot of fun being part of a team

00:56and supporting people whose voices haven't been heard up until now

01:00and contributing whatever, I guess, wisdom or experience that I might have

01:06and still getting a good night's sleep.

01:08What's your best piece of advice you give to...

01:10I know you do this with a lot of younger actresses.

01:13Yeah.

01:14Well, it depends.

01:15I guess it depends what issues people are coming in with.

01:17It's a different era now for young actors.

01:19They have these long lenses they didn't have on cameras and stuff.

01:24People out in the world with their iPhones that they didn't have when I was young,

01:27so we were able to do all sorts of silly things without anybody noticing.

01:30I think that's tough.

01:32I guess cherish your home life, your private life as much as possible

01:37and guard it with your life in some ways.

01:40And then try to sit down because all that standing is going to ruin your legs

01:45and your back, I guess.

01:46Yeah, those are two big ones.

01:48And I guess not worry so much.

01:50That's a tough one for people to take in, I think.

01:53And maybe there's little ways of helping people relax,

02:00like meditate or something.

02:04But mostly when I say, please relax, everybody's not able to do that one.
