00:00I felt nervous. You come across to me as like the most self-assured, confident person in the world.
00:07I don't think I'm confident, but I mean, not in another language when other people are able to improvise and they can't.
00:17Sometimes it's hard to remember things.
00:20I think it gave the character something interesting actually.
00:23She wasn't, but she was worried that she was never at the top of the game and that someone else was going to be able to communicate who's better.
00:31Did you take on this role because you wanted the free trip to Paris and working it?
00:38Oh, wow. Not quite that but close.
00:42Which is, I've really been wanting to do a French movie for a long time.
00:45I've done a few, but I've never done one where I speak as much.
00:48I had a lot to do, it was a big challenge, and I think that's definitely what drew me to it.
00:52Do you feel like your French must have improved? It must be like Duolingo times 10, right?
00:57Well, you know, I get rusty when I'm in the States for a long time.
01:00I don't speak the language at all, so I have to go there.
01:03And before shooting, I went for three weeks before shooting and just didn't speak English at all
01:09and just immersed myself so that my tongue would get used to it because you jog at the time.
01:13Right.
01:14Last question.
01:15Do you ever look back on your life, which is an insane life, and think like, holy ****?
01:21It doesn't even seem real some of the things you've gone through.
01:24I think the key is to not look back too much.
01:29I mean, I'm always reminded of stories that are kind of amazing, that are now amazing.
01:34You know, when I say to my sons, and they'll say, like, oh, Andy Warhol, they're like, oh, I knew this guy or that guy, or I did a movie with this guy.
01:42It didn't seem weird at the time, but now as I'm getting older and older and older, I guess the opportunities that I've had is now starting to sink in.
01:53You were the Coppertone kid, that alone.
01:55I was.
01:56Yeah.
01:57That's the one that usually gets people, always.
01:59Yeah.
02:00They're like, oh, you ever go on SNL?
02:01I was like, yeah, I used to SNL.
02:02They're like, well, who's on yours?
02:03I was like, well, all of them.
02:05Jimmy Chase and then The New Game, too, and they're like, oh, who was your musical guest?
02:18I was like, well, this is Ryan Wilson of the Beach Boys.
02:22They're like, what?
02:23You know, it's crazy.
02:24So.
02:25I don't.
02:26I don't know.
02:30I'm just sorry.
02:31I'm like, haven't news ranging frombey like shallots of no56 who can go there?
02:36I can take care then.
02:39Well, I listened to all of them so.
02:41I'm not sure if anybody wanted to catch up man people.
02:43But I didn't stop.
02:44We're smart anymore.
02:45I've been born employees like a hundred years there.
02:46I'm not sure if anybody's willing to incense them yet.
02:51I didn't laugh to you.
