00:00Jonathan Hinder the new, well the first MP for the new Pendle and Clitherow seat, tell us how it feels to be elected.

00:08It feels surreal, it's an amazing feeling to have been elected the Labour MP for Pendle and Clitherow.

00:14It's been a really long night, but to come out on top in the end, it's an amazing feeling.

00:20Can't wait to get down to work and serving the people of Pendle and Clitherow.

00:24And you've wiped them away now, but there were plenty of tears in your eyes weren't there at the result?

00:29Yeah, it's obviously an emotional moment with your campaign team, when you've worked so hard with so many people.

00:36You've worked so hard as part of the campaign, and for it all to come off in the end, it's an amazing feeling.

00:42And it was quite tense at the end wasn't it? It was pretty close.

00:45Yeah, it certainly was. We've seen some interesting results across the country, and just delighted to get over the line here in the end.

00:56And if you have one first message for the voters of Pendle and Clitherow, what is that?

01:01Just that I can't wait to get down to work serving you, the public of Pendle and Clitherow.

01:06I will do absolutely everything I can to improve your lives, whether you voted for me or not.
