00:00So how do you feel that you've won the election and you're now Morecambe's MP?

00:04It feels absolutely fantastic, you know, my team have been working so hard for this and

00:08Labour's been working hard, so hard across the country to rebuild trust and I can't believe

00:16it really. Very sleepless for pride but looking forward to day one and building the country

00:23back up.

00:24And do you think the boundary changes have affected the way people voted,

00:29i.e. for you or the Conservatives?

00:31Yeah, so I think the boundary changes inevitably change things. Obviously there's different areas

00:37of the constituency, we now have parts of Westmoreland, Skirton has gone back to Lancaster

00:43and just on a demographic level of course that changes how people vote.

00:47But what I've been really pleased to see is going across the constituency,

00:50so every town, village, hamlet, talking to people, it is support for Labour everywhere.
