00:00Elections are about the character of a nation. They are about jobs, they're about the economy,
00:06they're about war and peace, about a whole range of issues, but at the end of the day
00:09it's really about the character of a country. And the American people got a chance tonight
00:15to be reminded about the character of Donald Trump, a man who stood there and lied for
00:2290 minutes straight. But what I was also struck by was by what he did not say. Every time
00:27he was asked a question that had something to do with the lives of the ordinary working
00:34class people that I represent here in the state of Georgia, did you notice he never
00:38answered the question? When he was asked about childcare, which is a real issue in this country.
00:44A lot of people can't get to work because they don't have childcare. He didn't have
00:48an answer for that. He tried to take credit for capping the cost of insulin and prescription
00:54drugs. Well, I know that's a lie because that's my bill. I passed it and Joe Biden
01:01signed it into law. When it came to anything having to do with ordinary people, he reminded
01:08us that this man wants to do the only thing that he's ever done and that's focus on people
01:12like himself. That's why he passed a tax cut that went to the riches of the rich on the
01:18backs of ordinary working class, poor people, middle class people. We passed a tax cut,
01:25the largest tax cut for middle and working class people in American history. He's trying
01:31to divide us and we've got to make sure that we stand up as a nation and stand up for the
01:37American covenant. He pulled his own them out of many one and we should always be afraid
01:44of somebody who's telling us to be afraid of each other. That's Donald Trump. America's
01:49better than Donald Trump and I believe that come November 5th, the American people are
01:53going to stand up once again and prove it as he did in 2020.
