Beth V, what happens to find you up on this lovely quarry field, what are you up to?
00:07
Well, we're just setting up for the food festival, so...
00:09
I'm never a guest!
00:11
So we've started hanging out with some giant food.
00:13
This weekend we've got 200 local food, drink exhibitors, homes and gardens.
00:17
We've got two live entertainment stages.
00:21
We've got a chef's school, so you can come and have a go, cook along with some local chefs.
00:25
You can come and watch some people demonstrating.
00:27
We've got a massive area full of free kids activities.
00:31
It's an absolutely huge festival, so if you've not been before,
00:35
you can expect the fact that we're using up most of the quarry park in Shrewsbury.
00:39
It's going to be good weather, there's absolutely loads to see, do, buy, enjoy.
00:44
It's a whole day out for the whole family.
00:46
So if you like to eat, you like to drink, you like to watch live music, you like to have fun,
00:49
this is the place you need to be.
00:51
And how are you coping, setting up in this heat?
00:53
It's hot and sweaty, can you not tell how hot and sweaty I'm looking?
00:56
It is hot, it's hard.
00:58
But the team are doing an amazing job.
01:00
I guess you'd rather have it this way than the other, wouldn't you?
01:03
I can cope with a bit of sunshine if it means we can keep the rain away,
01:05
and the forecast is looking good.
01:07
People can still buy tickets at shrewsburyfoodfestival.co.uk
01:10
or you can buy them on the gate when you arrive.
