00:00It's been a fun ride. It's been a cake walk. No, man. No. Most of the walk didn't have
00:14any cake and you were just walking, you know. And shoes got wet while walking. But cake
00:24and all is available now. And it's a lot of fun to eat cake. But after the walk, that
00:32strength has also come. Patience has also come. But, and also you see yourself. You
00:38see all the ugliness in you when you are down and out, when you are not happy at somebody
00:44else's success. You see that, you see that, you know, darkness in you. And you get to
00:51know yourself very well in ways that, you know, I didn't think I was capable of falling
00:59that low in my own eyes. The kind of, you know, insecurities that came up in that time
01:07of not having work. But then you do a project which is so transformative. You work with
01:14a director who changes your life. Like Anoop Singh did for Meen Kissa. And then everything
01:21becomes worth it. And then you understand that, oh, there was a reason why it took so
01:26long for me to even appreciate this film and what Anoop has given me. And after that, there's
01:36been no looking back. Even though I had to wait even after that film for work. But inside,
01:41I just knew what I have learned. It's like he's given me a box of tools. Now I can open
01:47that box and take it to work every day. It doesn't matter what project, what film, what
01:53part. So, yeah. Regrets? Yeah, I do regret wasting time feeling sorry for myself, comparing
02:05myself to others. And I regret not using that time to just have many, many, many other
02:16interests, you know, which I learned it the hard way. And now, like I know that acting
02:22is one part of my life. But I have many, many other interests and I spend a lot of time
02:27in that. So that when I'm out of work, which will happen because this is our career, it's
02:33up and down. And when that happens, I'm not at sea. I'm not lost. There are many other
02:39things that anchor me besides acting. But when I was younger and I was hell-bent on
02:44being an actor, that single-minded focus was actually very painful in retrospect. At that
02:51time, you felt that that's the right thing to do. You know, that so obsessed with it
02:55that you don't develop any other faculties and any other interests. It's like, you know.
03:02So yeah, those regrets are there. But I guess you live and learn and I'm trying to undo those things.
