00:00A 4-1 win over the Sox last night on the South Side after getting blanked the night before
00:09and Chicago won two-zip with just two hits.
00:12Okay, maybe we'll hide the fork for an extra day.
00:17Tough for me, though, who said keep an eye on Garrett Crochet, who has been sensational
00:21for Chicago since the month of May.
00:23They didn't even win the first five, did the White Sox, as the Astros are victorious 4-1.
00:29Yeah, he was okay, though.
00:30Six innings, pitched three earned runs is a quality start.
00:32It's about what you can expect.
00:33Maybe you expected a little bit better, but you also expected maybe the White Sox bats
00:37to get more than one run.
00:38Now, here's the issue.
00:39The Houston Astros now have been 34-40 on the season.
00:43I don't think they're going anywhere.
00:44And sometimes you can just take a look and say, well, that lineup sooner or later has
00:47got to hit.
00:48But I understand injuries are going to happen in Major League Baseball.
00:51It happens to every single team.
00:52Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies.
00:54You take a look at now what the Dodgers are dealing with, both on the mound and also with
00:57Mookie Betts.
00:58But look at the bottom of the lineup that you saw yesterday for the Houston Astros.
01:01Caratini, Salazar, McCormick, Hummel, and Cabbage.
01:05And I don't think it's Robbie Hummel down there playing for the Houston Astros.
01:09But if you, like, yeah, you're not actually going to win very many baseball games once
01:13like, okay, well, two, they do everything at the top of the lineup and we'll see what
01:16we get.
01:17Do you remember when that Houston Astros lineup, and it wasn't too far ago, it stayed
01:20until last year, like one through eight.
01:22Obviously, they had a catcher that didn't hit very well.
01:24But one through eight, they were sensational at the plate.
01:26This year, not so much.
01:28Not sensational on the mound.
01:29That's why they're under 500, and I'm not believing in them.
