Independent UN report lists crimes against humanity by Israel

The United Nations Human Rights Council-mandated Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel, found Israel has committed crimes against humanity including forced starvation. They also accused Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups of war crimes.

00:08violations of international humanitarian and human rights law, including extermination,

00:16intentionally directing attacks against civilians and civilian objects, murder or willful killing,

00:25using starvation as a method of war, forcible transfer, gender persecution targeting Palestinian

00:33men and boys, sexual and gender-based violence amounting to torture and cruel or inhuman

00:41treatment.
