00:00Yeah, Dalton Schultz, another guy who's finished as a tight end, won three straight years.

00:08Last year, five touchdowns, 635 yards, a year before that, five touchdowns, 577 yards, pretty

00:14consistent between Dallas and then moving to Houston, playing with CJ Stroud, but there's

00:19a big difference now this year in this offense.

00:21It's year two of a young quarterback looking ahead and improving.

00:26Rookie quarterbacks tend to favor the tight ends because they like to check down.

00:29They sometimes have trouble with reading defenses in the NFL early on, and the tight

00:33end is that, that drop down, you know, easy target security blanket.

00:38CJ Stroud has shown you he's already kind of moving past that last year, especially

00:42towards the end of the year.

00:43And now you're bringing back a healthy tank Dell to Nico Collins and off seasons you sign

00:46Stefan Diggs.

00:48So you tell me, Matt, how many targets are going to be available in this offense for

00:52Dalton Schultz?

00:53Again, it's a very tough sell.

00:54He's currently being drafted again, right on that fringe of tight end one, but I don't

00:59look at him as a good investment this year.

01:01I would rather, once again, look at Jake Ferguson, look at Brock Bowers, I'm going late tight

01:06end.

01:07I do think there's a real, you know, when you get to eight with Evan Ingram, to me,

01:12that's kind of where the drop off is considerable.

01:14You're taking a big risk on TJ Hawkinson being healthy.

01:17That's a big problem.

01:18I think you're looking at the top of this grouping with Kelsey Laporta McBride, I think

01:22has been for a great season.

01:24Andrews worry about the consistency and the injuries, but at the end of the day, still

01:28more good potentials ahead of him.

01:30Dalton Kincaid could be the guy who leads the bills and targets this year.

01:33It's not out of the range of outcomes that happens.

01:36Kyle Pitts, Kittle, Ingram, and then after that, things get dicey at tight end.

01:41So late tight end, good, but don't let tight end go off the cliff there.

01:45Get one of these top eight guys, because after that, it gets real dicey unless Brock Bowers

01:50becomes a star.
