00:00It is time for the Circus Sports Team of the Day.
00:02It is the Denver Broncos, who are plus 15-50 or 15-1 to win it all.
00:07The Broncos' win total is set at 9.5,
00:11and all the questions are coming around with Bo Nix.
00:13Like, is this now time for Bo Nix to have a big year
00:17in this Sean Payton-led offense for Denver?
00:20We know what this defense is going to look like in Denver.
00:23They're going to be one of the best, if not the best.
00:26They're going to be a problem.
00:28The Chargers, the Chiefs, and the Broncos,
00:32their odds are all pretty much the same to win the Super Bowl.
00:369.5 wins for Denver, 9.5 wins for the Chargers.
00:42The Chiefs are at 10.5, which is pretty interesting at Circa
00:46as to what we're looking at from a scheduling perspective
00:49because Denver opens the year on Monday night at Kansas City.
00:55Look, that game, out of the gate.
00:59Denver has a chance to announce their presence.
01:03And look, it's early, but I like Denver in that game.
01:07And it's Mahomes on his, you know, the first game
01:10since blowing his knee out from an ACL perspective.
01:14He's not going to run.
01:16Like, I think if Mahomes is out there running around,
01:19I think that's a really dangerous situation.
01:21And everyone will be holding their breath
01:24because a re-injury of the knee is extremely possible.
01:27When you blow the knee out once,
01:29you can really, until it gets fully back,
01:32and most people will tell you,
01:34it takes a year to 18 months to really get back,
01:37to really be fully back after an ACL injury.
01:41And the Chiefs are nothing without Patrick Mahomes.
01:44So, I mean, to play Denver out of the gate, yikes.
01:48That's just a really, really difficult deal to come in.
01:53And look, the Chiefs, I told you yesterday,
01:55I'm just not high on Kansas City.
01:58I am extremely high on Denver.
02:00Everyone is, and rightfully so.
02:02So, I think this offense, as long as Bo Nix can play within the offense
02:09and not do crazy things and throw picks,
02:13Denver should win that game.
02:15Monday night, stand alone, Denver should win that game.
02:19If they do open up with a win over the Chiefs in week number one,
02:25it sets up a really interesting start to the year
02:28because they have Jacksonville at home.
02:30That is not easy.
02:31They play the LA Rams at home.
02:34That is extremely difficult.
02:35And then they go on the road to California
02:38to play the 49ers and the Chargers.
02:41Out of the gate, right?
02:43And then they play Seattle.
02:45Their first six games are all against playoff teams.
02:49If you're a Bronco fan, if your team opens up 3-3,
02:53I think you're going to be excited.
02:55I think you just take it.
02:56You go, okay, 3-3.
02:58Because after that, it gets way easier.
03:01Arizona, the KC game is difficult.
03:04And again, I'll reiterate what I said yesterday.
03:06The fact that the AFC West teams are playing each other
03:11in the first half of the schedule, I just don't get it.
03:15It's a mistake.
03:17Like, these games, Kansas City and Denver playing two times
03:23in the first two months of the season, and we don't get KC.
03:27After week eight, KC Denver is done.
03:31We don't get it for the next, you know, if they play in the postseason,
03:35they won't play again.
03:37That stinks.
03:39Like, I just don't understand the scheduling from an NFL perspective
03:42when you have arguably two of the top teams in the AFC
03:46in the same division, arch rivals, hating each other,
03:49and they don't play in November, December, or January.
03:53That stinks.
03:55Like, that's a major mistake.
03:56But from a Denver perspective, you play at Carolina and then the bye.
04:00After the bye, this is just a wrecking crew.
04:04They're going to roll right through that schedule.
04:08They should win every game after the bye.
04:11Like, that's just, go ahead, win every game after the bye.
04:15I don't see a loss there.
04:17Maybe the Bills go to Denver on Christmas and win.
04:20Maybe.
04:21That's a Christmas Day, standalone, Denver-Buffalo,
04:25unbelievable football game, and they take on two cupcakes on the road
04:29the weeks before they play Buffalo.
04:31The Jets and the Raiders are both Ws.
04:34They have Miami at home, Pittsburgh on the road, the Raiders.
04:37Like, this is just run.
04:39Maybe the Patriots get them, but I don't think so.
04:42In Week 17 in New England, that's a hell of a football game,
04:47but it might not be for much depending upon where each team is.
04:49And then they end the year at home in January against the Chargers.
04:54That's a West Coast team, California team,
04:57Dome team going to Denver at altitude in January.
05:01No, that's an L.
05:02So how many wins do they win before they get to the bye?
05:06If they get to three, okay, and they're three and three at the bye,
05:11if they run the table, like I think they have a really good chance of doing it,
05:16they're going to wind up going, look, I don't think they go 14 and three,
05:21but 13 and four, 12 and five, that's on the table for the Denver Broncos
05:27because of what their schedule will look like after the bye.
05:30Anyway, so Denver might get off to a rough start.
05:34It might be a bumpy start for Denver and then they run and then they go.
05:38Once they get to their bye week, they're going to be a really difficult team.
05:42I think it's going to be a team that you can look at for a survivor,
05:44a team you can look at for circa a million.
05:46I think that there's a chance to go ahead and ride the Denver Broncos.
05:50I think that there's a chance to go ahead and ride the Denver Broncos.
