00:18Denise.
00:21Dominic, ibididad ng Department of Tourism ang Salam 2024,
00:25ang kauna-unahang Halal Trade and Tourism Expo dito sa Pilipinas.
00:55that there should be awareness on what Halal really is all about
00:59because a lot of people would really think that Halal is only for Muslims
01:03when in fact it is actually anybody and everybody can actually avail of Halal food and Halal products as well.
01:22Well, we're starting to introduce about talking about Halal, Haram, about Islam to people
01:30so that they will be more aware of the way of life of Muslims.
01:39Literally, it means Halal, lawful or permissible.
01:44This is in terms of Sharia law or Islamic law.
01:49But pag sinabi nating Halal, it's not only about food or non-food.
01:54We can actually relate what Halal is in our way of life.
01:59Lahat ng mga ikakagalit ng God, which is the Creator, yun ang Haram.
02:05So lahat ng masama, lahat yun ay Haram.
02:08That includes, let's say for example, gambling, drinking alcoholic drinks,
02:24Git naman ng Halal Development Institute of the Philippines,
02:38sa pamamagitan ng pagreport sa Department of Trade and Industry.
02:56Halal is for everyone, it's not only for Muslims, it is for everyone regardless of any religion.
03:05And as long as it is permissible, like for example, there is no non-Halal contamination.
03:14As what we have said, food, Halal food is for everyone regardless of religion.
03:55Dominic?
03:57Alright, maraming salamat Denise Osorio.
