The Festival of Chichester is declared open!

Chichester deputy mayor Councillor Stuart Loxton does the honours during a sunny Festival launch on the Cathedral green.

00:00things. And we had stools, we ran workshops, we leafleted everyone and through all that

00:06we had community engagement. And one of the top aims we came up with was to foster a vibrant,

00:13thriving and active community in Sydney. And Chichester Festival embodies that perfectly.

00:19It's five weeks of activities put on mostly by local performers but also with some great

00:25national performers to attract people and for that reason we're so happy to support

00:30it and hope it keeps growing and has a strong year. And so I'm very happy to declare this

00:36year's festival open.
