00:30Oh my God!
00:53This is the main line that goes from Sonia Vihar to Greater Kailash, which is called South Delhi Mains.
01:00All the water pipelines go to Greater Kailash, Jankpura, Nizamuddin, Jal Vihar and Lajpat Nagar.
01:06We have come to check this to see if there is any kind of leakage anywhere.
01:10Senior officers have also been told to check all the pipelines.
01:14The Jal Board staff has also been told that the officers of the Revenue Department will patrol together with them.
01:22Because in the absence of this water, not a single drop of water can be wasted.
01:37We have filed a detailed complaint with the Supreme Court to stop the wastage of water.
01:44The Supreme Court also raised the issue of tankers and we have filed a complaint on that as well.
01:49But the important thing to understand is that in today's time, the Delhi Jal Board is running 1000 tankers.
01:55That is 6-8 trips a day.
01:57Even such a massive tanker network uses only 4-5 MGD water.
02:05So illegal tankers should definitely be stopped.
02:08But even if we stop them, you will save half MGD water, you will save quarter MGD water, you will save one MGD water.
02:18But the lack of 40 MGD water cannot be fulfilled.
02:24It can only be fulfilled if we get water in Yamuna, Wazirabad Pond and Munakkanal.
02:49An affidavit has been executed by the Delhi Government.
02:55So the Delhi Government Minister will make a request to the Chief Minister of the State of Haryana.
02:59And accordingly, the Haryana Government will consider, while considering its own requirement,
03:03because Haryana is also facing a heatwave and all these stringent water shortages.
03:10So accordingly, the Haryana Government will consider the application and the Haryana Government,
03:15the Himachal Government and the Delhi Government along with the Upper Yamuna River Board will sit together and accordingly it will be decided.
