Leeds locals reflect on pop superstar Taylor Swift and invite her to Leeds following her first UK ‘Eras’ shows in Edinburgh and ahead of her performances in Liverpool.

00:17Like, realistically, I'm sure she's got a lot of Swifty fans here. And yeah, I think it would obviously sell out.

00:24But yeah, definitely come to Leeds, Taylor. Big T, come on. You know you want to. Come down to Yorkshire.

00:29I wasn't a fan until probably last year when she released Cruel Summer. I really like that song.

00:38I like the bridge, like everybody else. But altogether, I wasn't that much of a Swifty.

00:45But I can be. And if she was to play in Leeds for the right price, I will come see her.

00:50I don't see why not, right? I mean, there's a lot of... I know I've got a lot of mates in Leeds who are big Taylor Swift fans.

00:55I certainly would be more intrigued to buy a ticket if she was playing in Leeds.

01:00I know the prices of tickets are quite steep for Taylor Swift, especially.

01:04But at the same time, I think it could potentially be worth it.

01:08I mean, she's one of the potentially the most successful female artists, especially like my generation.

01:16Big fan of Taylor Swift. Love a lot of her songs.

01:21And I would be... I don't see why she wouldn't play in Leeds, really.

01:25I don't think there's too many negatives for her playing in Leeds.

01:29But at the same time, I mean, it's probably up to her tour manager.

01:32And, you know, she'd probably not have too much of a say on it.

01:35But at the same time, why not? It's a big city.

01:45Maybe not in the arena. Maybe in the bigger place.

01:48Because, you know, if you go see in the arena, the traffic in Leeds gets so bad.

01:53So maybe play somewhere else.

01:55Maybe the Leeds United Football Stadium. That would be a much better venue.
