00:00 The current situation in Gaza leaves its inhabitants with very few options to shelter from the
00:05 bombs thrown by the Israeli army and almost no choice to find food.
00:09 For more information, our correspondent, Huda Tegassi.
00:13 Well, yes, literally there is no safe area.
00:23 The Gazans who came out of Al-Burei's area and Anas Eirat's area, until this moment,
00:28 they don't know where to go.
00:32 They don't know if after finishing this operation it would be safe to go back to their homes
00:36 or if it's better to settle in the Al-Mawassi area of Cantonese.
00:42 But many people have tried to go there and they have assured that there is no place safe.
00:48 Even the Gazans who were evacuated here in this hospital and after they were threatened
00:52 and proceeded to flee, have returned because they are sure that they have no place to go.
00:58 They have decided to stay in the hospital despite the risk that it will be bombed at
01:02 any time.
01:06 As there is literally nowhere safe to go, the northern area is impossible to access
01:10 due to the fact that Israel prevents the governorate of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip.
01:15 It is also being targeted for battle and military ground operations are being conducted there
01:21 and therefore the only places that were supposed to be safe were the central areas such as
01:26 Anusairat al-Burej and the area of Deir al-Bala.
01:30 And in these days have been bombed and therefore the area that supposedly would be safe is
01:35 the area of Al-Mawassi, either Deir al-Bala, Cantonese or Urufa.
01:40 But equally there is no space to install these 2.5 million Gazans or at least the 1.7 million
01:47 Gazans that are in the governorates of the central Gaza Strip.
01:51 And many people have decided to return to their places where they were before the operation
01:55 because they literally do not know where to go and in relation to humanitarian aid the
02:01 borders are still closed for more than a month in a row.
02:06 Food has started to become scarce in a very abundant way.
02:10 Literally nothing can be found in the market, not even in the black market with very high
02:14 prices and therefore this is also directly affecting the Gazans who are going through
02:19 a situation of real famine.
