00:11On Sunday, Colombia held a list of elections which resulted in the defeat of right-wing and
00:15Eurobism representatives, as left-wing party Historic Pact is currently positioned as the
00:21leader in the Senate with 23% of the votes. Precisely, former President Alba Uribe was
00:26unable to obtain a seat in the upper house for the Democratic Center Party, which won't
00:2916% of the votes. This political party placed Uribe last on a closed list which leaves him
00:35out of a distribution of seats that, according to projections, would only give his political
00:40formation to any representatives in the upper house. In addition, the representative of the
00:44hegemonic media, Vicky DĂĄvila, who had aspired to be the presidential candidate of Eurobism,
00:49received less than 5% of the votes after leaving a campaign criticized for disrespecting the
00:54symbols of indigenous peoples and spreading fake news about the left.
