00:00 Says it all, says it all.
00:01 You know, that was the big international commemoration being held just above Omaha Beach
00:06 and getting through that beachhead and into the fields of Normandy.
00:09 Our American allies lost thousands of men.
00:12 And for him to skip it says to me he's not really interested in our history,
00:18 not really interested, frankly, in our culture, what we did, our achievements.
00:23 This is still within living memory.
00:25 There were many, many veterans attending that parade.
00:28 And it says to me this is an unpatriotic prime minister who simply doesn't care.
00:33 I think Sudaik's problem is he just doesn't get it.
00:36 He just doesn't understand how ordinary folk in this country feel.
00:39 You know, people say, wow, you know, my grandmother,
00:43 great-grandmother, worked in the war putting rivets in Lancasters or whatever it is.
00:47 This was a massive joint effort.
00:49 And of all this country's achievements, you know, I think D-Day must rank up there
00:54 as one of the top two or three things we've ever done as a nation.
00:57 and he shows how disconnected from ordinary folk he is.
