00:00 Everton Football Club have said the agreement for 777 partners for the sale of the majority
00:05 shareholding in the club has expired.
00:08 The American Investment Company had agreed to purchase majority owner Farhad Moshiri's
00:12 stake in the club in September.
00:14 Everton says it will continue to operate as usual while it works to assess all options
00:19 for the club's future ownership.
00:20 There had been a share purchase agreement in place with 777 until May 31st.
00:26 However, the deadline passed without resolution.

00:33 required conditions of ownership.
00:34 In a recent meeting between Everton's fan advisory board and Farhad Moshiri, Mr Moshiri
00:39 confirmed he had received unsolicited approaches from other parties but that he could not engage
00:44 with any of them while the agreement was in place.
00:47 In a statement, the club said the board of directors would like to thank everyone connected
00:51 to Everton for their patience over recent months and reiterate its commitment to providing
00:56 further updates when it is appropriate to do so.
